Artour made our wedding bands and was a delight to work with. I was a little hesitant going to the downtown jewelry district - they can be a little pushy down there - but we happened upon Artour who made us feel very comfortable. My husband found his ring in the case and I had mine made to match my e-ring. Artour took a mold of my ring and was all set to work on the original design I came up with, but then I changed my mind and Artour had no problem changing the design. The final product was exactly what I wanted and matches my e-ring perfectly. Plus, the price was way, way lower than we would have paid at a mall jeweler.

Rev. Barbara officiated our wedding and was wonderful. I've heard so many compliments since the wedding on her delivery and how personal she made it feel. She was great to work with prior to the wedding in terms of helping us figure out how we wanted the ceremony to go. I'm Catholic and my husband is Jewish so we had to make sure we still had a meaningful ceremony that didn't offend one side or the other. She had the pefect approach for us and helped us tailor our ceremony to our needs and wants. She was also very helpful in giving us information on getting our marriage license and even mailed the document back to the county for us while we were on our honeymoon. We had our official marriage license in the mail when we returned! I highly recommend Rev. Barbara. She's organized, helpful and just a joy to work with. I'm so happy she married us!

We had several out of town men that needed tuxes and Men's Warehouse was great so that these guys could get measured in their town and then pick up the tux here (Woodland Hills). It all worked out great, the guys looked great and I really didn't hear any complaints about things not fitting properly. Pickup and return were good too.

BOC was ok to work with. I contacted them because a friend of mine in Chicago used them for her makeup & hair and she looked gorgeous. (BOC is based in Chicago). I found their prices to be inline with the quotes I was getting from other MUA and hair stylists in LA so I was ok with the price. But they did seem to drag their feet with finding me someone here in LA. They told me they'd call me within 2-4 weeks with both a MUA and Hair stylist but I never heard from them in that time period. I had to finally contact them to find out who was going to do my hair/makeup so I could set up a trial. When they finally gave me the name of my person, the info she had wasn't accurate. She was told I wanted my trial 2 days before the wedding. HUH? Anyway, she and I worked things out and at the end of the day I was happy with how I looked, but the scheduling and organizing part was not as tight as I would have liked. Also, my MUA/hair stylist was super nice and wonderfully talented but I wasn't happy that she brought along her boyfriend the day-of without asking if it was ok. She also ran 45 minutes late which threw off alot of the setup time at the site for me, my MOH and mom. So as you can probably tell, I'm sort of mixed on my review.

Fabulous. I loved my invitations and had many people compliment them as well. The girls in the service department at Jean M were wonderful to work with. I had a few custom pieces I needed made and they spent alot of time on the phone with me working out the details of the design. I was really happy with the finished product. There was one problem... one of the insert cards was printed on the wrong color cardstock, and when I called to have them fix it, they reprinted the cards with no questions asked and had new ones to me in less than a week. Great customer service, even when they make a mistake!

Michelle was fabulous. I first met with her without really knowing what I wanted, but did have an idea of what I didn't want. At the end of the meeting, I was going to have a bouquet of orchids and mini-calla lilies! I never would have thought that's what I would have ended up with but she convinced me it would be beautiful, go with my dress and the site, and she was right. Everything was beautiful and worked well together. I never even interviewed another florist after meeting with Michelle. She mainly only did our personal flowers, so no centerpieces, but she spent a good amount of time with my mom and I discussing how we could DIY our own centerpieces for cheaper than what she could do. She was so nice, helpful and informative and I couldn't be happier with her work and service. Book her and never look back.

We decided to do something a little different from the usual cookies and candies for our favors. We hired Leslie to come cut silhouettes of all our guests during the cocktail hour and reception. It was a big hit and people loved having them made. Leslie was so nice to work with and was very professional. She was on time and did a great job. I've heard so many stories about how her silhouettes look exactly like the person and seeing was believing. She's a great artist and I'd highly recommend hiring her.

We hired Cathryn after hearing her at a bridal show. She played for our ceremony. She was so easy to work with and played beautifuly, one of the nicest vendors we used.

We booked Cesar and he was great, super nice and organized. He had mics for the ceremony as well as DJed the reception. There were a few minor mistakes but only we noticed - nothing major. He also wasn't obnoxious and realized that the reception was for us and not his time to be the life of the party like so many DJs out there. No cheesiness and he honored all our do not play requests. I'd definately hire him again!

I wish there were more stars to add for Gabby. She was wonderful and a lifesaver on the day of the wedding. She is a day-of coordinator only, which is all I was looking for. I enjoyed the planning part but I really needed help to run-the-show the day-of. I confidently handed everything over to her and she ran with it. She's smart, organized and knows how a wedding/reception is supposed to run. She handled the details without me having to worry or know what was going on. I can't say enough nice things about her!
