I have mixed feelings about the Marriott. On one hand, everything turned out well. They provided a shuttle for our guests to the Summit House, and the breakfast was really good. On the other hand, the hotel was the most stressful part of the wedding planning. Their banquet manager never returned calls or emails. I only got ahold of her after I called the general manager… and he even took a week to resolve my problem. When our guests (and I) called to make reservations, they’d tell them that our room block was full, even thought it wasn’t. Then, the reservation person promised me champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and upgraded me to their deluxe room. Later I found out the hotel doesn’t have a deluxe room (it has a suite, but we weren’t booked for it), and doesn’t provide champagne or strawberries. In the end it was all resolved and they handed out our Out of Town Bags, upgraded my husband and I to a suite (no strawberries, wine, champagne, flowers), and provided rooms to everyone, but the hotel, which should have been the easiest part turned out to be the most time consuiming of all.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Summit House. They took amazing care of everything. Everytime I turned around, one of their staff members was there with champagne or water or anything I needed. The view was amazing and the service was even better. Seriously, after we booked the Summit House, every vendor we talked to all said that they loved the Summit House and a few even said they wished they'd had their weddings there. And now I know why. They never made me feel rushed, even during their crazy Saturday switch overs when I'd peak in to see how they transformed the room. Their staff alway had time for me, or my mom, or my aunt or anyone else who we brought by. They created my candy bar, and set everything up beautifully.

They taught us our wedding dance in 2 lessons... in one week. Gonzo was great and choreographed the whole thing. We did a slow dance and then it cut into 45 seconds of salsa. I'd recommend this to anyone who wanted to do their wedding dance!

A+++. Dr. Paul was funny, nice and did a great job. The ceremony went really well. We wanted a religious ceremony and he was amazing. He did a wine ceremony, and a part where we gave flowers to the moms. We heard so many compliments about the ceremony, and apparently he talked to the guests for a moment before we walked out to greet everyone and told them to listen to the words of the ceremony. I highly recommend Dr. Paul Ystebo as an officiant to everyone.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Honestly, I don't even know what to say about Allison. She and her team transformed our reception and ceremony into something that I could never have even imagined. I showed her inspiration pictures and then just told her to do whatever she wanted to do, and she did the most amazing job. We had a daisy lined walkway, hanging daisies on the gazebo, and wheat grass centerpieces. At the last minute, she also incorporated some (actually 350) origami cranes I made. I'm a little sad that the wedding is over, because I liked going to her flower shop and listening to her ideas and watching her create the most amazing centerpieces. I'm still speechless at how amazing everything turned out.

The photobooth was amazing. Everyone loved it at the wedding. It was super crowded the entire night. Cheesy was great to work with. They helped me design the banner at the bottom, provided props, and provided the guestbook supplies. Plus, we get a CD with all of the pictures from the night. Less than 2 weeks after the wedding, Kevin the CD and guestbook were ready. The quality of the pictures were really good too. We compared them to other companies and Cheesy had the best. The photobooth was by far the best idea. The only negative was that I just found out the guy at the photobooth packed it up before the reception was over. We were supposed to have him from 6-12 (they wedding was over by 11 though), and by 10:45, he was gone. It upsets me, because I wonder how many other people would have taken pictures in that 15-20 minute span.

I ordered my monogram through Jennifer (best idea ever!), and she sent it back the next day. Great service and I'm so happy with my monogram.

I love this company. I'm slightly insane and decided to fold 1,001 cranes for my wedding. And because I didn't want to measure and cut 1,001 pieces of paper, I decided to order a kit. They sent it within two days AND included a little piece of candy! Loved it! Just yesterday at 12:32 pm, I ordered some white envelopes. At 12:46pm, they called to let me know my order was not in stock, but they would substitute matte white with wedding white at no charge. (BTW, no idea what the difference is!) And because I don't answer my phone if I don't know the number, I didn't answer or check my voicemail yesterday, so they called back this morning! I love their customer service!

I totally agree with Slurpee's review. Paper-Source is an awesome store and I got so many great ideas. We ended up buying our petal invitations and card stock through them, only because I procrastinated and didn't want to shop around in case it wasn't the right color or paper weight. If you can get to a store, come in and have fun. They showed us how to heat emboss paper, and now we are going to emboss everything. They are expensive, so you might want to get samples & ideas there, and then shop around a bit. However, if they have an item on sale, you can get a really great price.

I bought a mantilla veil through this ebay seller. The picture online is exactly what I received. The shipping was incredibly fast too. I ordered the veil on Monday (at 11pm), and it was delivered by regular mail on Wednesday. I just wanted to update to say that I received so many compliments about my veil. One of DH's male friends actually came up to me later and told me that it was the most beautiful veil he'd ever seen. I really recommend it.
