I find it very entertatining that all these posts emphasize about the sales people and event planners, and the so called important role they have in your wedding. Well upcoming bride and to whoever is interested, take the advice from a bride who had her wedding at The Palace a couple of months ago.
The sales person and event planners are meaningless. They were very nice people who did what was asked of them. Their job is to get the information and hand it over to the people that actualy execute the event. Those are the individuals that will guarantee the success of your special day. Not the girl who asks you what color linen do you want. Please!!!!!!!!!
So in know way whatsoever should you not book your wedding at The Palace because of them. The Palace is a beautiful place with great food and staff.
Our salesperson we only met twice, and he passed me on to the event planner who basically just took our details. She wasn't even their the day of the wedding. Was I upset, no! That's how the Palace works.
A couple of days before the Wedding you meet youre Maitre' D at whats called a final. That is when we met Jason. He was great, and we laughed through out the final. It was like dinner and a show with him. As soon as we met him, we knew we were in good hands. We asked him to e-mail the outline of the night for us, and by the next day we had it.
We had a great wedding, that I wish we could do it again. Latonya was our bridal attendant and she was terrific. Her and Jason make a great team, so If you do get married at The Palace make sure to ask for those two. Please don't let a misunderstanding about what an event planner or salesperson does take you away from The Palace.
