I am the highschool friend of Emily's that also used Gene and Linda and we cannot say enough good things about them. After we saw Emily's engagement photos we fell in love with their work. We went to meet them and it just seems they know exaclty what you want and how to make it happen. We had told them for our engagement photos we wanted them to have a European feel (because we were having an Irish themed wedding in a German village) :) and they knew exactly where to go for these photos. It is a little awkward at first when taking the pictures because you don't know what to do, but they just get you laughing and it turns out to be so much fun. They photographed our wedding like 2 weeks ago and we just got the proofs back and we absolutely loved them. They did such an amazing job and we now have the hard part of picking out our favorites for the album. You cannot go wrong with these photographers because they will make you feel so comfortable and relaxed that you can't help but to have fun and take beautiful pictures.
I had a horrible experience with them. I ordered floating candles from them and I ordered 10 packs of pink and 10 packs of ivory. I got the package and they were all pink. Not really a big deal I know mistakes happen. So I e-mailed them to let them know what happened and they told me what I need to do is place a new order and repay for shipping the new candles. Then I can send them back my incorrect pink candles and they will refund me everything but the shipping cost. I told them that didn't seem fair since I didn't order the wrong candles, it was their mistake so I should be credited back the whole shipping cost for the second shipment and I shouldn't have to pay to ship back the incorrect candles. They should have issued me a UPS/Fed-Ex call tag. Then they told me the charge they charge for shipping isn't really a shipping charge it is a handling fee so they can't justify refunding that to me since it was so small. I paid $4.95 the first time, I would have had to pay another $4.95 for the second shipment, and then pay who knows what to ship back the incorrect candles. Needless to say I was pissed and I will never order from them again.
