I originally booked this hotel for my reception, but had to change venues for personal reasons. I had already put down a deposit but they were kind enough to allow me to switch the booking to use it for the rehearsal dinner. The dinner was held in a smaller banquet hall downstairs, and it was lovely.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is wonderful. Everyone is polite and professional, especially Deanna, the wedding coordinator. She's so understanding and she takes the time get to know you as a person, which I really appreciated.

Their wedding packages prices are very reasonable.

Now known as The Hills Hotel (no longer affiliated with Holiday Inn). The ballroom is newly renovated and is so beautiful! The ballroom has LED lighting on the ceilings in addition to the six huge crystal chandeliers. The service is really attentive.
The wedding package includes a cake from your choice of bakeries (including Heidleberg's). They will also set up your favors, centerpieces, etc. for you at no extra charge. I didn't need to hire a coordinator because the venue took care of everything.

Crystal and Joe are incredibly nice and professional, and they're able to work within my budget to provide the flowers for my ceremony and reception.

Being completely clueless about flowers, I went into the shop and told them the colors I wanted and the budget I was working with, and told them to run with it. A few weeks before the wedding, they created a centerpiece sample for me. I had no idea what I wanted so I signed off on the centerpiece even though I wasn't really crazy about it. A week later, I started having second thoughts and spent a few hours one night on the phone and emailing with Crystal to request a change to the shape and the type of flowers used. I didn't want to spend any more on the flowers, so Crystal really had to be creative to make the flowers I wanted fit into the existing budget.

In the end, I was absolutely thrilled with the centerpieces she created. They were so lovely, elegant, and looked so upscale and beautiful. My mom was even worried that the guests at some tables would fight over who got to take the centerpiece home!

I have to mention that we did have a major hiccup the morning of the ceremony. I needed to leave my hotel at 8am and Crystal and Joe had promised that the flowers would be delivered by 7. At 7:15 I got a phone call from Joe saying that they had some car trouble and would not be able to make it on time to the hotel. However, he did everything he could to make it up to me, and ended up delivering the ceremony flowers to the ceremony and making a second stop at the reception (I believe this would have cost extra if I had requested the extra delivery, but they did it for free). There was absolutely no harm to my events, but it was very stressful to me the morning of the wedding. A few days later, Crystal explained over email that her delivery guy had been hit by a drunk driver on his way to the hotel! Joe did not tell me this on the phone (I am guessing to keep me from worrying too much). So, because it was absolutely not their fault and they went above and beyond to make sure that I got my flowers in time, I don't hold it againt them at all.

I was a little concerned about dropping the $500 deposit to book Photo Booth Pro without ever meeting Patrick in person, but I finally bit the bullet did it. Patrick was pretty easy to get a hold of by phone and/or email when I had questions.

One tip: I was able to create my own header for our photo strips. It turned out way smaller than I expected and I would've used a bolder font if I had known, but it was still nice to have a header that matched the color theme of our party.

Our guests LOVED the photobooth, and commented all night about how fun it was. It was such a treat to be able to take home the scrapbook the attendant made for us at the end of the night and look at all the funny pictures and messages from our guests. The booth attendant was present throughout the night and was very professional and welcoming. Their package includes a CD of all the photos taken, and they also post all of the pictures up online so your guests can go directly to their website and download their favorite pics.

I just got married three days ago and this is the first review I wanted to write. Jill is SO great -- skillful, efficient, responsible, reasonably priced, and personable.

I normally don't wear much makeup and I can look really strange and different when my makeup is heavy. My fiance was freaked out by my makeup for the engagement shoot, and it was totally my fault for not doing a good job communicating what I wanted (and not doing a trial run). When I came back for my makeup and hair trial before the wedding, I asked Jill for a more natural look, and she totally delivered. I was satisfied with the trial and walked around shopping and running wedding errands the rest of the day without feeling too uncomfortable.

The day of my wedding, we had to start getting ready at 5am. Jill showed up bright and early with her assistant, and they did hair and makeup for my bms and the mothers in two and a half hours. I was so happy when I looked in the mirror, my makeup was even better than the trial we had done earlier in the week.

Jill is also very skilled at styling hair -- I sent her a vague picture of an updo hairstyle I liked and she was able to recreate it beautifully. She also styled the moms' hair and they were both happy with it.

John & Amy have been a dream to work with so far; they are really accommodating and hard working. They have always shown up early to our scheduled meetings, and they respond to emails very quickly (within 24 hours if not faster). They have a serious, professional energy, but are pleasant and easy to be around.
We've only had our engagement shoot so far and considering the circumstances, it went really well. My fiance is not really into having his picture taken for two hours at a time, and it started raining during the shoot, but John and Amy took it all in stride. John was even climbing up onto slippery second floor balconies to get the right angles for the pictures. The pictures were awesome, and we'll cherish them for a long time.
I'm confident that they will take awesome pictures at our upcoming wedding in May, and will update this review then!

John & Amie were amazing on our wedding day. They stayed with us from 7am until 10pm to capture all the important moments of the day. They were polite and professional throughout all day long, even when things were really hectic and people were getting in their way, demanding to have their picture taken, etc. And most importantly, our wedding pictures are absolutely wonderful. John and Amie captured every detail beautifully, and we LOVE the pictures! If you love his artistic, photojournalistic style, book John Li -- you will not regret it :)
