I was not impressed with Lili Bridal. Maria was amazing and made my experience much more worthwhile, but if she wasn't there it would have been miserable. If you do go to Lili, be sure to request Maria. I tried out many shops and just happened to find the dress of my dreams here, so I stayed put. The alterations on my simple dress cost $450, plus they charged an additional $175 to press the dress -- but I was told in the beginning that the pressing was included in the alteration charges. I ended up disputing the charge and Lisa 'absorbed' the pressing charges to keep me happy, which I am very appreciative of. I was quoted $350 in the beginning and it ended up being $450 because of 'extra' work. Look at my dress -- only minor beading at the top! Nothing fancy! Anyways, that part of my transaction was really sketchy and it seemed that they must increase the alteration charge a lot, as they were very vague about things.
I guess it's an okay place if you are looking for an 'okay' experience. The sitting area is drab (old couches) the fitting rooms are super small and the staff is not very professional in my opinion. They only have one pedestal to stand on with a full length mirror (they have two, but one is used for the alteration station). When I was there, along with 6 other brides it was so crowded that you had to wait in line just to get your turn at the big full length mirror. It's annoying to wait your turn when some brides stand there for over five minutes. When you're trying on three or four dresses, those five minute wait times add up and make it a less fun experience. They only have a few rooms, so be prepared to wait!! And be rushed!!!
Update: After reading the other posts, I wanted to comment that I was also told to order my dress in a size 14, when I tried on the size 12 and it fit fine. Seems a ploy of theirs to add additional alteration charges.
Gabby was our Day of Coordinator on 8-31-08 at the Wilshire Ebell Club. She is a true gem! She is fair in her pricing and honestly, could charge a lot more for her talents and service!!! She definitely made our wedding the best it could be. Gabby is a take charge girl who gets things done with grace and charm. She helped us above and beyond our expectations. She put together our entire rehearsal (in place of our Rabbi who was not able to make it). She grabbed her notebook and took charge. She walked us through every ceremony detail with ease. She arrived early and stayed later than necessary. She boxed up every single item from our reception and put it in the Groom’s car at the end of the night. She even had our cake boxed up. I found things in the boxes that I never expected to see again. She is very thorough and very thoughtful.
She is quick to respond to any and all problems. The problems were handled without my knowing and everything magically came together! She also aided with a seating mishap (I left someone off the list!) – she was able to politely explain to the guest that it was ‘her’ fault and the card must have been misplaced. She also drove all the way to Glendale to take our cake stand back to the cake maker! She definitely goes above and beyond the call of duty – and does it happily. Gabby is not scared to make decisions on her own, which is a huge benefit to any bride.
I could go on and on, but Gabby is the best girl for your wedding!!! You will not be disappointed. She is really smart and extremely knowledgeable about weddings (and many other things). She is very creative and offers ideas without being overbearing. She is prompt, courteous, VERY professional and extremely sweet and easy to work with. She dresses for the occasion and always looks beautiful! At the end of the night, she was calling the staff (at our venue) by their names – which was a big plus because it shows that she works well with others and gets them in her ‘corner’ so they’re more willing to help if anything goes wrong.
Another important thing to note is that Gabby is passionate about her work. She LOVES weddings and will make your wedding as special as her own. She values the importance of a stress free day and does everything in her power to achieve that. You will not have to worry about ANYTHING when Gabby is on the job. You can trust her with your vision and carrying out every detail you wish.

Linda is truly amazing. I found her on Craigslist of all places and feel so fortunate. I wasn't sure what to expect, but she FAR exceeded my expectations. Our first meeting lasted almost two hours, going over my entire wish list and vision for my wedding. She offered ideas and had great solutions for cutting costs without it looking like it! Just look at my photos - she did an amazing job. My guests could not believe how much I got for the price we paid. I hate to say this, but she could charge a lot more for her services!!!
On the day of the wedding, Linda and staff arrived early and worked extremely hard.
Everything was perfect. My vision was fulfilled. I really wanted peonies in my bouquet but they are out of season in August ... guess what she surprised me with? Yes, she found peonies special for my bouquet!! This was all out of the goodness of her heart. She went out of her way to make me happy. I also called her THE WEEK of the wedding and asked for silk flowers for my hair, which she found and picked up the day before the wedding. The silk flowers she found were A+ top quality.
Linda is sweet, creative, professional, punctual, responsible and I adore her. I will keep in touch with her (and have) even after the wedding.
She also did our wedding cake flowers, which turned out so beautifully.
I highly recommend Linda - she is great to work with. Has a young, sweet vibe and is passionate about her job. She loves it!! It shows in her work and work ethic. I frequently called her before the wedding to go over details and she had been up all night prepping for other weddings. She works hard!!

Darin at Capital Photo booth has been TERRIFIC! He bent over backwards to design a custom "break-apart" booth for our wedding ... our venue does not have easy access for a 600 lb. booth. When I explained the situation, Darin wanted to help and is making his FIRST break-apart booth for easy transport (FOR US)! Now that's customer service!! He was willing to go the extra mile. He even agreed to come set up an hour early, just for asking nicely.
The booth looks the part of the traditional “old school” booth, but has the latest in digital photo technology.
Darin answers questions promptly and is easy to deal with. I definitely recommend Capital Booth Co.! They are the best!
