Finding the right person to work on our wedding day was not easy, some vendors need to know that you are prepared to give them the equivalent of a small fortune and your first born before even talking to you. Others flat out tell you they are "not baby sitters" or "techies", when you ask for a scanned image or request the sheer courtesy of not copying the entire world in your emails while you try to drive a wedding in Southern California from a living room thousands of miles away. My husband and I feel that we have seen it all... we can probably write a blog! We screened, we called, we worked with 3 different coordinators before Kathy, including one who fundamentally disagreed with our unconventional ideas for our wedding and decided to drop out 3 months away from the big day. This is why Kathy is so special to us- she was able to execute our vision and take it to a level we never imagined. She picked up right were the wedding had been dropped and ran with all the ideas and details as though she had been there from the beginning, which is the only regret I have. Where were you, Kathy? Why didn't we call you earlier? MUCH earlier? She also worked on our behalf to pursue better deals and refunds for us after the wedding was over. Something we really enjoyed about Kathy's style is that she works very independently and never says "we cannot do that" before really trying. You can't ever anticipate what part of your dream day will encounter a roadblock and you need someone like Kathy to negotiate on your behalf. We felt that we were in the hands of a professional all along, and you know this meant the world considering we were already rather jittery. Kathy is an expert in her field, she is bold, assertive, creative and more importantly- she let's you write your own fairy tale and then she makes it happen. A month after our dream wedding, our friends are still raving about it calling it nothing less than "spectacular". My best friend asked me, How in the world did you pull this off? Hats off!"
