I wanted the look of diamond jewelry, but definitely couldnt afford to spend that kind of money. I looked around a lot and felt that most of the cubic zirconia jewelry looked cheap or wasnt well made. I was really suprised how reasonable the pieces at Swarovski were considering the look and quality. I chose some simple crystal studs (that I still wear all the time) and a simple drop crystal necklace. I got so many compliments on my jewelry the night of the wedding. They are so sparkly and beautiful!

We stayed at the Diplomat on our wedding night. The hotel is beautiful! Although it was a little too cold to use the pool and beach area, we certainly enjoyed the view from our suite. Would definitely stay here again for a special occassion.

Because we had been having some cool weather I decided to look for a shawl to wear at the wedding. After doing some research online, I found the perfect one at Alfred Angelo. I was thrilled that they had the shawl right in the store and I was able to purchase it right on the spot rather then waiting to order it.

We ordered our bouquets and 3 centerpieces from Field of Flowers. The flowers looked great. My bouquet was roses and orchids and my maid of honor carried roses. The centerpieces were beautiful and they gave me a few extra roses for petals which was a nice touch on the tables.

We ordered a cake for 80 guests so we could have three tiers. The cake was still quite affordable. It was a sinmple buttercream cake and looked just as smooth as fondant. We chose a different flavor for each tier. We saved the top for our anniversary (which still tasted great when we just celebrated 1 yr last month). We cut the other two layers at the wedding and saved the rest for our brunch the next day. The cake was delicious and once decorated with fresh roses looked like it should be in a magazine!

We ordered candy in our colors to fill favor boxes we had ordered. The candy came fast and was shipped well. We loved the site so much we even ordered some nostalgic favorites like candy buttons and candy cigarettes.

We ordered personalized ribbon and favor boxes from efavormart.com. The service was great. They have instant message customer service, which is so helpful. I ordered these pretty last minute and they came in plenty of time and looked perfect!

We booked Giorgio's for our reception because of its beautiful intercoastal views, nice private room, and value for the price. We original considered having our reception at the Spanish Monastery, where our ceremony was held, but with only 35 guests attending, it made more sense to find an all inclusive venue for room rental, food, drinks, tables, and chairs. The food and service were great!

Most of my bridesmaids purchased their gowns here. They were beautiful and affordable. The alterations were done here too and were perfect. They even did the alterations for one of my bridesmaids who bought her dress elsewhere since the rest of the girls had theres done there and made a day of it. The staff is extremely helpful and was able to rush one of the styles for one bridesmaid who ordered late.

Had my ceremony at this venue and it is just beautiful. They have many spaces to choose from for both ceremony and reception. We had our ceremony in the Prayer Well with the Cloisters surrounding. It is a truly unique venue and a hidden gem.
