We bought gift basket supplies and the late night snacks for our guests from Wal-mart. We were able to get platters of cheese and crackers, plus sandwiches, for very cheap. The sandwiches were perfect, fresh, and we only needed to order then 48 hours ahead of time. We also bought gift basket supplies, like bottles of water and trail mix for our guests from Wal-Mart. It’s so cheap and convenient to go shopping there, they could have catered our entire wedding in less than 48 hours if we needed a back up.

the food is great, they have steak and seafood, and lots of nice appetizers. The atmosphere of the place is great, too. They will only take big reservations if you call at least a week ahead, and then the chef and manager will call you to discuss if you want a special menu. I think the service was great, the only problem was that the food at the rehearsal dinner was better than at the actual wedding. And they will put a 18% gratuity tip automatically on your bill, so don’t tip twice.

The Macy’s has a really great men’s section, and they have suits as well as shoes and lots of great formal accessories for men. I think my husband was smart to buy a nice formal suit. He didn’t need an appointment, it’s not very busy in there. The suit was ready on time, and it looked nice. It was a nice brand name, and they have lots of brand names to choose from.

We had originally gone to a Zales in Beavercreek, and I ended up hating the salesgirl there because she kept flirting with my fiancé. I liked the rings, and the guarantee that Zales offered, so my fiancé and I drove up to the Tri-County Mall. The Zales there looked exactly the same, and we had a nicer older and professional woman help show us the rings. I was much happier with the service at Tri-County Mall. Even though I was only at the Zales in Beavercreek once and it may have been a one time deal, I would not go back there.

I think they are a very popular card shop for brides, and I can see why. We got great service. We needed to make an appointment, and then we got the full-service! Stacy showed us all the cards, explained to us wording, then showed us our options for RSVP cards and maps and lots of extras that would help our guests. I really liked the time she took to explain us everything, and having pretty and informative invitations did help.

The rooms were fine, but I think they looked a little used and they smelt. Also, the other guests were loud, and I know lots of my guests complained to me afterwards that they didn’t get a good night sleep on either the Friday or the Saturday night. I also was told that one guest didn’t have a clean bathroom, but reception was good and switched him to a clean room right away. I would rather pay more and stay somewhere nicer, but I had guests that wanted to save money.

Even if the flower arrangements were pricey, they arrangements were beautiful and the flowers were fresh. I used to work as a server at weddings, and I have seen lots of wedding with wilted and browning flowers, and I didn’t want that. The staff is great, they will guarantee fresh flowers and delivery. The shop is owned by a family, and has been owned by the same family for almost a 100 years, I think, and they have a great reputation.

My husband and I loved having Chad as our DJ and entertainment for the wedding! He does the Christmas corporate party for my husband’s work for the past few years, so we know that he’s very professional. He made sure that all three of us, as well as the manager at the reception hall, were in sync with the wedding entertainment planning. He has a great music repertoire, and was great about setting up in time. He also wore a suit, so he made the party feel very formal but fun. I can’t begin to explain how great Chad was, and I know that other guests at our wedding have booked him for their wedding because he was so good.

I really liked our wedding cake. We were referred to Patti Cake by a family member, and we were happy with our meeting and the final masterpiece! There are so many bakeries to choose from, but I think we lucked out with Patti Cakes. She did a great job. The cake looked beautiful, it tasted great, and it was what we had asked for.

The dresses we bought at Sears were perfect. They looked like the dresses we had seen at the Bridal Show, and like other bridesmaids dresses we had seen at other bridal stores, but they were so much cheaper. The saleswoman who worked there were there, but we never needed to ask them any questions. The dressing rooms were old, but good enough for trying on dresses. I don’t think the shopping experience was as nice as at other stores, but the dresses were perfect and cheap.
