I knew we HAD to have Shade Tree Films be our cinematographers when I seen their work. I talked to my husband and we decided to book them. All of our correspondence was done via email and a phone conversation with Chad. I would like to think that I am a pretty good judge of character (with the exception of one, which shale remain nameless), and I hit it off with Chad right away.
The day of the wedding we had 4 cinematographers, two of which were being trained. We didn't mind since we were/are all students at one time or another. Not only were they friendly, they were extremely professional, even when dealing with someone who was not. I felt very comfortable with them and I believe that it radiated though our video.
I knew that editing 10+ hours of work and compressing it to a 20 min film would NOT be an easy task.
We got our video last week and there are no words to describe how wonderfully talented Chad, Drew, and the entire crew from Shade Tree are. They captured EVERYTHING +more. We got to experience the moment all over again; the laughter, the joy, the tears.
My husband who is a man of few words could not get over how wonderful the video is. I almost want to keep them a secret from our family/friends so nobody will have a film like ours, but of course sharing is caring.
So thank you Shade Tree!!

I had gone to Mariposa twice.Initially, I brought one of my bridesmaids to try on dress. N****** was assisting us, well I wouldn't exactly call it assisting as she seemed far more interested in oogling over the women coming out in bridal dresses. I found a veil there that I really liked and was really thinking about purchasing it. I asked about Chantilly lace veils, and was told they are VERY pricey. I felt a bit insulted by this, as if I didn't know this or couldn't afford it.
In all fairness they have a wide range of selection on bridesmaids dresses. So I scheduled an appointment for the rest of my bridal party to go and try on dresses. The girls found the style they liked, but the store did not have the color swatch samples since it was a new color that was being introduced to the line.
I called the designer specifically and asked how long it would take for the swatches to be sent to the store and I was told 5-7 days after the store placed the order for the swatches. Week one went by, week 2, week 3, by this time I was aggravated and called the store. Finally I was able to get the color swatches.
Overall- The experience is hit or miss. My experience was less than stellar. If you have WEEKS to wait for a response then you may want to check this place out.
Tara did my hair for my b.pics with Pussycat Pinups!
She did a "vintage" and "glam" look. I LOVED, LOVED both of them. Tara is a kick a** hair guru ( yes GURU), and she is such a sweetheart too!
I wish I would have known about her prior to my wedding day...I would have booked her on the spot! I will DEFINITELY be calling Tara to do my hair for events and when I go red! =)

Initially I was hesitant with having boudoir pictures taken, since the last time I had them taken I gained about 13 pounds. However, Beth makes you feel like a SUPER MODEL. Who doesn't want to feel that way?! She realizes that everyone is NOT a size 2 and 100 pounds.

All of these women are the best at what they do. The big kicker was that they are all so down to earth and humble, which is a HUGE deal to me.
Not only is Beth is an absolute genius, her attention to detail is by far the best that I've seen!
Ladies- I'm sure you can search google all day long, and hear great reviews about other studios, but NONE of them are in the same category as Pussycat Pinups. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but with Beth you don't get imitation. You get the real deal!
I will DEFINITELY go back, and HIGHLY recommend Pussycat Pinups!

We must have looked at seven different photo booth companies before coming across Sparkle Photo Booth.
Paul was very responsive to any and all questions that we had. There isn't that "fine print" where they try to charge you for every little thing.
Our guests LOVED the booth, and towards the end of the night the attendant came to find my husband and I so we could try and take some more pictures before they were to leave. They have pretty good selection of props. We just received of scrapbook from Sparkle yesterday, and it looks GREAT! My husband and I loved the fact that we received a disk with all of the images that were taken during the night, since some guests took both copies. I wonder if people realize that their R-rated photos will be on the disk? =D
There were a few things that bothered me, but not so much were it would affect my rating for them:
1. Some of the pictures looked really weird. Almost like the camera was being bumped and needed to readjust.
2. Our two flowers girls weren't "tall" enough to get in most of the pictures without "adult" help. Which was bother-some since this was a big factor why we picked Sparkle.
3. Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Paul in person as we were told he had another event to attend to ( told to us my his nephew) However is nephew was VERY helpful and extremely nice.
OVERALL:
We were happy with the fun that Sparkle added to our wedding.
If you want a Photo Booth at your wedding/event you should give Paul ( sparkle booth) a call, or shoot him an email ( which is how I communicated with him).

I contacted Michelle to place an order for custom gift tags.
She's a fantastic vendor to work with. She's professional, reliable, and responsive. She always got back to me very quickly, which is heaven sent since some vendors on etsy take FOREVER.
I got the gift tags in about a week maybe a little longer than that, but definitely not more than two. I was extremely happy with the way that they turned out. Not only were they beautiful, but the quality of the materials that were used were fabulous.
One regret- I ONLY ordered custom gift tags. I wish I would have found Sweet Peas and Seashells earlier in my wedding planning process to order more items.

I originally found Juanita on PW, but my Coordinator referred her to me too. =)
Her prices are by far the BEST prices that's I've seen in L.A. and Orange County. We paid $4.00 per chair with the cushion! Some places were trying to charge $8.00/chair- RIDICULOUS! She has fruitwood, white, black, gold, silver. We picked the gold chairs. Some vendors may try to say " well for $4 I can bet they are flimsy." ( Yes I had a vendor tell me that). I can assure you they are NOT.
We didn't want to have the hassle of storing and shipping 150+ chargers, so we rented them at $.50/each.
The only problem I had was she was kind of "forgetful" at times. I went to orange county from my home and was told by her that she would be there. She wasn't, needless to say I was irritated by this.
In all I would recommend Elegant Chiavari Chairs. However, make sure you follow up with her as sometimes emails and voice mails will go unanswered for a while.
Jill was one of two hairstylists that I hired for my wedding. Jill was very easy to work with, and responded quickly to emails/questions that I had. Her prices are VERY reasonable. She charges a small mileage fee to travel to your hotel, but I think it's worth it to have someone come to you rather than you going to them.
She was extremely nice, and has great skills. All of my bridesmaids & flower girl loved their hair, and I loved how it stayed the entire night.
I would highly recommend Jill to other brides, BM's, etc.

I purchased two flowers girl dresses, along with two petticoats. We didn't want to spend so much money on a dress that they would only wear one time. I found the perfect dress for them, and the quality was very good for what we paid. We received the dresses in two days!

I contacted S&S months before our wedding ( yes literally like 6 months) to get pricing on their mini desserts. DH and I met with Haley, and she was very helpful to us. We didn't decided to book them until sometime during the summer, so needless to say wedding season was in full swing so they couldn't get back to me as quickly as they had previously.
We narrowed down our choices and I emailed them to Haley. The colors that would be used for the desserts hadn't been decided, and it was kind of close to our wedding day, I left that up to my coordinator and Haley. They worked fabulous together and it looked great!
EVERYONE raved about the mini dessert bar ,and how "yummy" they were.
