I did my own makeup after getting a consultation at the Prescriptives counter at Foley's in the Southglenn Mall (enhanced with a few drug store items like eyeliner and waterproof mascara). I loved the makeup I bought. It was so easy to recreate the look I got at the counter since the consultant was really helpful and took the time to show me exactly what to do. The makeup lasted all night.
Another tip - I bought some Origins "Zero Oil" liquid and it worked really well. I didn't have any shininess all night and I only needed a little bit right after my moisturizer as I was getting ready.

We rented our chairs from Estes Park Rent All. Everything was high quality and there were no problems at all with the delivery, setup, or removal. It was worth it to have a vendor that works with the venue so well, because I didn't need to worry about anything.

Marci is great to work with! She made our wedding cake not only look amazing, but it tasted great. I was worried about the delivery since it was four tiers, but everything was perfect when it arrive at our reception. A+

My parents insisted on having a limo for our wedding day even though we got married and had the reception at the same place. It turned out to be a great idea because it got us some much appreciated time alone between the ceremony and the reception. Our driver was polite and took us for a nice leisurely drive, where we met up with our photographer for some shots alone. A+
Dennis rocks! Great to work with on the day of and during all of the pre-wedding preparation. He was very detailed in his communications with us so that he could really get a sense for our personalities, so I felt totally confident as he was filming our day. I saw him all over the place but he was very unobtrusive, even when he had to have the spotlight on during our dark outdoor dancing. A+!

Jeff and Christy were just great to work with! Very unobtrusive, but took charge when they needed to get people lined up and posed for the traditional shots. They were good at getting things done quickly so our guests could get back to the party. They worked great together as a team, not only determining the bests positions and settings, but also making sure my hair was right and flowers were in the right position and dress wasn't bunched up, etc. A+
I know there have been some issues with David's, but we had a good experience. We went in on a Saturday without appointments and were able to try on lots of BM dresses until we found what we liked. Ordering was simple, the dresses came in early and we had no problems. I went back a week before the wedding to get my shoes after changing my mind on the original sandals I had. I thought they were a tad pricey but I really liked them.

All of our hair turned out really great and lasted all night. If I were rating on the hair alone, it would be an A+. The ambience was not what I expected, and they don't do trial runs. I had a consultation 2 weeks in advance, but since I didn't get an actual trial, the hair was not exactly what I'd planned. However, I loved what she did and got lots of compliments on it. I just wanted it to be a little fuller to compensate for my high forehead, and I was concerned that it looked a little "fuzzy" but in seeing some pictures, I think I was just being paranoid!
In any case, the setting was okay but the stylists were very quiet and we did not get the "pampered" experience we were looking for. It was more of an assembly line feeling. We all ended up with great hair, though, and the stylists were friendly enough and the price was right. Mine was only $55 and the others ranged from $45-$60 plus tip depending on length
We told Steve that we would like to burn all of our own music and he was happy to play our selections. We gave him the flexibility to also play guest requests, though we had surveyed our guests online to get their main requests ahead of time and included them on our burned CDs. Steve was great at reading the crowd and new exactly when to play fast or slow songs. We had a late start for dinner and the crowd seemed anxious to get dancing, so he played a bunch of fast songs that he kind of cut together in one mix at the beginning to get people moving, and it worked. He was non-intusive but also fun, and a really nice guy. Price was great, too - no travel fee from Denver metro to Estes and the price was only $350 for 3.5 hours. He arrived an hour early to set up and played an extra 15 or 20 minutes for us at no charge.
The music sounded beautiful. I only remember bits and pieces of it but the guests loved it and I can't wait to see it on video. Natasha was our main contact and she was very flexible to work with and spent a lot of time helping us chose the perfect songs (we didn't want many traditional choices). She also recommended a few different cellists and provided their pricing information so we could select from several options. Page me if you would like her contact info.
