She has recently left her hair salon and is branching out to doing hair at her clients' homes, or at hers.

Her prices are out of this world (once again, 2 updos, and 2 blow dry and styles and the cost was $140!!!)
Jen would not even DREAM of having a bride come to her on the big day-
she brought all of her supplies and was actually like one of the girls while we were getting ready.
Jen just moved to thee far North suburbs so if any brides are out there-
call her- she will do a FABULOUS job!

Lisa was great! I met her about a year ago at the Clinique counter.
Her prices COULDN't BE BEAT (she charges the same price she was charged 10 years ago at HER wedding ...
My two sisters, Mom and I got our makeup done- the total cost was $150).
She listens to what you want and isn't offended when you tell her you don't like something.
She comes to your site and does things quickly and completely.
She got the A MINUS just because there were a few moments when I didn't hear back from her that I was a bit worried about actually having her show up-
but she is just starting out her makeup/wedding business- so I am sure she is working out the kinks.
She lives in the Northwest Suburbs and I recommend her HIGHLY!

This studio isn't well known- and to be honest with you-
I have no clue how I found them- but they are SO GREAT! I had a package for photo and video.
It was unlimited amount of time and included everything I wanted with a TERRIFIC price
(I got all my proofs, negatives, our album, 2 sets of DVDs, 2 sets of VHS, engagement photos, interent ordering, a wedding photo CD, unlimited service and 3 wedding portraits for $3498).
Romauld owns the studio and is a great man to work with.
Everyone is very Polish (I am too- so it felt like family) so listening to him is crucial.
They are VERY laid back.
Two weeks before the wedding I met with Romauld to go over things-
he was called to shoot a 35mm wedding which meant he was sending someone else to shoot.
I was a bit skeptical- but when Glen showed up I was so impressed.
He was friendly, professional and never really made his presence known.
Anna, the videographer, was the same way.
Both Anna and Glen were great and keeping all of us calm-
when the limo was late- they both started figuring out the next step to get my family and I to the ceremony,
at the Sheraton they both gave Eric and I hugs and promised us they would take care of us.
I loved them both!
We actually got our proofs back last night (Oct 5) and they look great!
I cannot wait to put our album together!!!!

First- One Stop as a company really knows the meaning of customer service.
Whenever I had a question, no matter how trivial it may have been, I received a response in no less than a few hours.
I extended my time by an hour and it only cost me an extra $50 ...
I could NOT beat that price- ANYWHERE! John was AWESOME!
He called the day before the wedding to go over everything.
You could tell he had all of our information in front of him
(keep in mind- I am a music junkie so I had MY list plus the standard One Stop list!)
He mentioned to me a few songs that they did not have in their collection that I wanted and said he would go get them if I didn't have them.
On the day of, John was set up and ready to go (even through the reception debacle).
He even searched me out after having my "bridezilla" moment to make sure I was OK and to reassure me that he would take of things from his end.
The music during cocktail hour (outside on the patio) sounded incredible.
He helped everyone direct everything and kept the night rolling.
I even made a special dedication to my deceased Grandfather by playing a CD of an old record of his polka band from 1941...
He handled it great and made sure everyone heard the announcement.
John interacted just enough with the crowd to maintain humor and fun, but not so much that he got irritating.
So many people on this board keep recommending Brad from One Stop-
I would recommend John just the same!

I LOVED working with them and their prices were so reasonable.
They were the only florist I found that showed me examples of what things would look like when I was starting the process, and let me know different price options.
I was called about a week before the wedding to schedule a follow up visit (when I was chasing down most others!).
The flowers were all delivered to the correct places on time (in fact, they were EARLY!) and were so fresh that dew was still on some of the petals!
They bouquets all held up through out the day, the corsages and the boutonnieres all were very sturdy and fresh as well.
I got many compliments on how pretty they all looked and I was quite happy.
I was a tad bit disappointed in how small they were- but looking back on my notes, that is what I described (so when you are talking to your vendors- BE SPECIFIC) so that was my fault.
I would recommend them highly.

I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to host our rehearsal dinner.
What we liked the most about Mia Cucina (besides being about a mile from the church and hotel) was the fact that it is family run.
The tasting was AWESOME- we were able to try the appetizer, three FULL entrees, dessert and a bottle of wine ... FREE!
Jay was so accommodating to all of our wishes.
Since it was a small party (22 people total) we were in a private room and were able to have an "Italian style" table-
it was one large table- so no one had to sit away from each other.
The food was BEYOND delicious, the wine list is VERY extensive and the staff was prompt and courteous.
We had originally contracted with the valet (since parking is at a minimum) that we would pay at the end of the night.
He said that it was all on the house since we were getting married.
Mia Cucina really treated us like members of the family.

I could not have been happier with the selection and the timeliness of delivery.
We even came back a few months later after we had some alterations complications and they did a FABULOUS job, nearly creating an entire new back on one of the dresses (and the price was INCREDIBLE!).
I would recommend anyone to this store!

They were able to accommodate 5 of us- all doing different things.
The girls were friendly and helpful.
And- my pedicure IS STILL GOING STRONG- even after the wedding and the honeymoon (ocean and chlorine)!

We dealt with the Woodfield store (the employees there were VERY helpful and friendly).
Even though orders were coming from all over- they got all of them right.
The guys went in on the Thursday before to get the tuxes.
Two were sized wrong and they were fixed on the spot.
