They have the best shoes at Nine West, in both style and in quality. The shoes and sandals are worth the money because they last, and they are also comfortable. Last summer they had the most beautiful beaded sandals, which I bought for myself in a light brown color and then in the bright aqua for my bridesmaids. The pretty beaded sandals completed the look for a summer wedding.

This is the most beautiful location to have a wedding. We had planned to have our reception here YEARS in advanced, and it was worth the planning and preparation. The event manager and staff take care of every detail, down to the type of spoon we wanted to have served with the coffee. They are open to wild and non-traditional ideas, like having a late night pizza buffet for our guests after the dancing. I loved visiting the hotel, seeing all the different rooms, and then discussing all the details of the wedding planning.

They do the best nails here. I am a nail biter, and I have horrible looking nails. You don’t always need an appointment, but they get busy on the weekends. I have gone here before to have acrylic nails put on for special events. The nails always look natural and beautifully painted. I got a simple French nail style manicure for my hands, but I had my toes painted the same color as the bridesmaid’s dresses.

They had a great selection of wedding invitations and save-the-date cards here. My husband and I had planned our wedding a few years in advanced and so we had time to pick out our cards, and we visited a few store in OKC to examine what our options were. I remember that Red Fox Paperie was great because they had so many card samples that they could order in for us, in really unique styles. When we ordered our cards they were ready within a week, and they were great quality.

The best part of booking a block of wedding guest rooms through the Howard Johnson was that they offered lots of packages and deals for the guests. They were able to get passes to a water park, or discount passes to the museum or zoo. The hotel is also really great, all the rooms have internet access and there is free breakfast and coffee in the morning.

This was where we bought the guestbook and pen. My mother and aunts placed a lot of importance on getting a nice guestbook, because this was where the guests would write the messages and it would be a nice keepsake. I found lots of different guestbooks and writing pens at Things Remembered. They have a great selection, and I found exactly what I wanted in the modern style that I wanted. This was also where we bought the champagne flutes that my husband and I drank out of on at the reception.

I am only giving netbride 4 stars because I was so nervous the whole time, from the moment we ordered the bridesmaids dresses until they arrived. When the dresses arrived they were perfect, and I will happily tell any brides that it’s okay to get her bridesmaids dresses through netbride. They have a great selection, we saved about 30% off each dress that we ordered, which was great. It was easy to use, and you could call customer service for support.

We didn’t have the party at my parent’s house in Oklahoma City because my parent’s couldn’t make up their mind in time. My sister then planned a wedding shower at her house in Tulsa, and made it a great event for my close friends and family members. What made the shower great was that it she planned it like a tea party, so it there was lots of little snacks. She had the food catered by Whole Foods, which we don’t have in Oklahoma City yet. I’m really trying to eat organic, so it was fun for me to have a Whole Foods wedding shower. I was able to choose some of the dishes, and they are so tasty and good. There was so much variety in the salads and desserts and sandwiches, plus all the dips and cheeses. It was expensive, but everyone was asked to contribute $10. Whole Foods makes me want to move to Tulsa!

This is a great place to find vendors in the area, but I didn’t really learn anything new that I didn’t find on my own going through the internet. I guess what is nice is that I was able to meet lots of the vendors face to face, and getting a better sense if I wanted to work with them. I did enter the draws, and even though they were giving out lots of prizes I didn’t win a thing! I also didn’t stay for the fashion show, but I did see some amazing dresses before hand.

This is not a fancy restaurant, but it has some of the best Mexican food in the area. It’s all made from scratch, even the drinks that they will spice up for you. You don’t really make reservations there, although my friend did call ahead and said that eight of us would be showing up for my bachelorette party. It’s not fancy at all, but I loved going there for dinner with my friends before going clubbing. It has a small outdoor patio that’s always crowded on a nice summer night, and they have great drinks and chips. I recommend everything on the menu. The atmosphere is great and it’s the perfect start for a great summer night on the town.
