The first dress I tried on was it! I tried on some others, but kept going back to that first one. The ladies who work here are very sweet and know their stuff. While they can be a bit "Everything looks stunning!" and almost overly accomodating, they are also very honest about the dresses they don't find as appealing on you, and they are right! And they didn't try to force me to buy the most expensive dress. They even showed me some floor models that were half off with very minor, easily fixable flaws, so I actually got a really great deal on my dress. I was afraid that they would try to get as much money out of me as they could, but I was honest about what I wanted, and that I wanted to take my dress elsewhere for some fixing, and they were fine.

This quaint B&B in VT was wonderful! We went in the winter. The owners are AMAZING! They upgraded our room for free, knowing that we were on our honeymoon - they gave us the room with the jacuzzi! They made tasty breakfasts each morning, made reservations at restaurants we went to, and helped make suggestions about other places we might enjoy. They took care of directions and reservations, too, for the sleigh ride we went on. All my husband mentioned was that I would like to go on a sleigh ride, and that he did not know where to start looking. They basically said "Don't worry, we'll take care of it!" And they did!

My husband and I visited here to try out the food before we decided on booking it for our day. They have great Italian food... I love the Lobster Ravioli with vodka sauce! And the staff, albeit small, is very pleasant. However, when it came to our day, they fell a little flat. The food was about a half hour - 45 minutes late (though still good), and a few of my family members were disappointed with how they handled a situation that occured: my husband's grandmother fell, broke her nose, and had to go to the hospital (something is always bound to go awry, right?). While I'm not sure how they should have handled it, a few people thought the staff should have been quicker to respond and apologize, asking if there was anything they could do, and be more accomodating by offering to wrap a dish for her. They were still pleasant, but it was obvious they were flustered and not used to handling emergencies. Out of loyalty to the family members who were offended, we will not go back.

For small, intimate weddings only --
Beautiful house, pleasant staff! They took care of EVERYTHING - beautiful seasonal bouquet, cake with our choice of filling and gorgeously decorated with flowers matching my bouquet, video of the ceremony and afterwards, as many photos with as many poses as we wanted, 3 night stay (with the package we bought), and breakfast each morning! Our wedding was in the winter, so we had to stay indoors, and the package we bought made provisions for 22 guests. Though, they also do outside and beach weddings, but I can only speak to the indoor winter wedding, which was perfect!

I didn't want anything big and over the top, so a few of my closest girlfriends took me to Friday's for drinks, while making me sport a fake veil and t-shirt with "BRIDE" across my chest! The staff was very accomodating and friendly, and they loved the fact that we were coming to Friday's for our "party." Our server wanted a picture with the bride-to-be! If you want to keep it small and intimate, I do suggest one of your favorite restaurants with your closest pals. If you're not wearing "I'm the bride" gettup, make sure you mention it is your bachelorette party, and joke about free drinks... it might work!
