From the first meeting with the affable Dan Codron, he immediately clicked with the bride, groom and parents of the bride. He understood our vision and began to incorporate creative and invaluable ideas of his own. Painstakingly he prepared samples for us to see and his enthusiasm and professional manner completely won us over. We gave him a budget and he respectfully kept within those boundaries unlike other vendors who made promises, but when it came time for the written estimate they had truly only given us lip service and their quotes were way over the top.
During the many months of planning, he was always responsive and receptive to new ideas and thoughts and since the bride and I were extremely detail oriented, there was never anything which was considered too small for his complete attention. Emails and phone calls were always returned in a timely manner and even if we asked the same question 100 times, he was always patient, pleasant and considerate.
The day of the wedding, he was determined to exceed our expectations in every way possible thereby making Jessica and Derek’s wedding the event of the decade. Dan and his staff worked long and hard in their quest to make sure there was not one detail overlooked. His passion for his work and the joy he brought to so many was evident in every amazing detail.
Unfortunately we had serious issues with our site location, La Canada Flintridge Country Club, whose management did not deliver on their promises of a total renovation in time for our May 1, 2010 wedding. And though sadly the club maintained its shabby 1970’s décor, with Dan’s creativity, he managed to draw our guests’ eyes away from the club’s many flaws and the focal point became his magnificent flowers.
