DJ Rich Haun was incredible.

I found him 9 months ago spinning at a club. We felt really fortunate to find out that he also does weddings.

He is a true professional in every sense. He played all our "do's" and never played any of the "don'ts".

He also acted as emcee and at the end of the evening provided us with live audio copies of the evening.

He is also bilingual if such services are needed.

These guys are based out of Minnesota and I was a bit reluctant about hiring an out-of-state vendor.

But I went with my gut instinct and took a chance on them. Well I am so happy I did as this photobooth was the hit of the party!

Everyone LOVED it and we provided props for the guests to dress up.

Our vendor operator Tia was awesome. Our guests could not have had more fun with it, just wish we had more time to go in it as we were too busy greeting and mingling with our guests.

Definitely get a photobooth for your wedding! At the morning after breakfast everyone brought their photos and we were all dying of laughter.

Working with Thomas Hughes has been very easy. I never bothered to go in to the studio to interview and hire them. Just by watching their demo videos they seemed great.

So far everything has been very good. Wedding was just yesterday so video review is pending....

UPDATE - Upon receiving the video, it definitely didn't live up to the demo's that I viewed. The lighting was off in the ballroom and I know that they've been to my venue a lot of times as they are a preferred vendor for Ralston so I think they should have had that mastered.

I feel as though they sent a newbie to shoot our wedding. During my husbands speech to his father, the camera man panned to an uncle who was obviously not DH father (ie..not wearing a tux and not introduced as father of groom)...it was odd, the cameraman also missed DH entrance in the ceremony. I ended up paying for an extra hour to have them stay to film an hour of the dance/party/reception and he left without capturing any of that. You could tell that the camera died a few times (ie, parts of the speech was missing - i bought the raw footage..so I know they didn't just cut parts out) and that some of the footage was shaky.

Overall, I think their demo's are great and like mentioned in another review, they reel you in with those. And I think those must have been shot with more than one camera or a more experienced person.

If you do go with Thomas Hughes, make sure you have in writing (on your contract) what you want taped because what I discussed over the phone was not on my video.

Also when I booked, I was told that I could pay the balance after the wedding. Two weeks prior to the wedding, I got a bill - balance must be paid in full. When I spoke w/ the customer service they said, "Oh well, I'm not sure who told you that, but we've had a lot of staffing changes, thats not our policy (now) and that we need the balance paid in full before the wedding".

On positive notes - I'm glad I got a video - even though some features were not captured and the lighting was funky - it will be great to look at in years to come and the music selection was good.

Definitely hire a videographer (whomever you choose).

Gorgeous venue in itself. We've had nothing but rave reviews since the wedding about how lovely everything looked.

The ladies at Ralston are also very easy to work with and you can call them 100 times and they'll always answer your questions.

For catering they work with preferred vendors so that makes it easy to narrow down a caterer. Then they also provide references for other wedding vendors.

Also to note if a family member is a NDNU alumni you get a discount.

Gail at Xsight is a real pleasure to work with. Her artistic talent is worth every penny.

From those that looked onward as our pics were being taken they were in awe of what she was doing. I cannot wait to see how our wedding pictures will look. If they are anything like our engagement pictures we'll be thrilled.

Everyone loved our cake. We ordered the opera cake and a white cake w/ blackcurrent filling.

The cake was gorgeous.

Only 4 stars because we asked for the 4" risers to be in between the 3 layers of cake but they forgot. No big deal to us, it still looked beautiful.

We decorated it with fresh flowers.

I give this vendor 5 stars because Joanna definitely knows her stuff. As soon as I put that dress on it was meant for me. She knew the perfect size to order, only had to hem the dress as it fit like a glove. I also got all my accessories to match from Joanna's. I felt like a real princess.

She also does amazing tailoring.

Jay did an awesome job!

He was so easy to work with. He make a special intro song for my husband that made his entrance truly unique.

Sherrie is a true magician w/ the make-up brushes and bobby pins. Love, love, LOVE her!

Got my 8 month old niece her flower girl dress here, so adorable! They had a ton of dresses at great prices. They also have shoes, purses, headbands, cute little socks, you name it. They also have suits for the boys.

I got the dress at the Tanforan Mall in San Bruno. Would recommend checking this place out.
