Jen did the place cards at our wedding and we were happy with her work. Her calligraphy work is above average and we got a couple compliments from guests that they liked the touch of having calligraphy on the place cards. She's strong on giving you good service and she shouldn't cause you to lose any sleep =).

We had Sylvia and she was such a doll! I did a trial with her shortly before the wedding and I really loved what she did with my hair. She left my hair down, but gave it some beautiful curls that I thought were so cute. My hair looked wonderful on my wedding day and I was very happy with how it looked in the pictures. One small complaint is that it looked slightly different than from the trial.

She also did my bridesmaids and both mothers. I thought she did a good job with them as well.

Bay Theatrical was one of our favorite vendors! He added some subtle touches to the ceremony and reception areas that we really liked. On the ceremony gazebo, he added some flowers and greenery to the railings that mixed in well with the ocean and forest view. Leading indoors, he lit the entrance in a soft greenish glow that made it seem like we were transitioning from the naturey outside to the more formal inside. We loved it! He greatly enhanced the atmosphere of our day.

We had our ceremony and reception here. Highlands Inn is a beautiful, beautiful location! It is located on a tree-covered hillside overlooking the ocean. There's an outdoor deck where your ceremony takes place and we'll always remember taking our vows with that beautiful view. Just look at the pictures!

The food was good although not great. I would give 4 stars for the food itself and 5 stars for the rest. The banquet rooms are fairly small as well (up to 120) so don't expect to invite a huge number of guests. It's not like a regular hotel.

Kristi the coordinator there is a pleasure to work with. She has a very pleasant personality and has everything you'd want in the person running your day.
