I ordered all my bridesmaids dresses offline from Keep Me in Stitches. I live in Florida and had one bridesmaid in Florida, one in Seattle, and one in Indianapolis. Needless to say it was a little tricky to coordinate dresses with my girls all over the country!

The dress that I chose was beautiful and looked even better in person than it had online, and the dresses were priced very reasonably.

My complaint is that one of my bridesmaids ordered her dress weeks ahead of time and not only did she never receive it, she had to call and email several times before she got in touch with anyone, only to finally get a response the day before the wedding that the dress was not in stock.

Fortunately I had a dress of my own that was the same color but a different cut. We put the maid of honor in that dress, and gave her dress to the other bridesmaid. It was a miracle that everything fit even after playing musical dresses...but it worked!

If you find a dress you just have to have I would advise ordering it at least six months ahead of time and following up diligently to make sure you get it -- and have a backup plan if you don't!

We got our wedding cake and groom's cake from Publix and were extremely pleased with their service. The baker at Publix went over all the options available with us and explained everything in detail. We were given two big slices of cake and a container full of different fillings to take home and taste.

I really enjoyed being able to take the cake home with us to taste because it gave my husband and I a pressure free environment to take our time and discuss our options with each other. The cake was absolutely beautiful and decorated exactly as we has described. It arrived on time and was DELICIOUS. We received compliments from everyone!

When I found Allen Weddings I was pleased with the packages that they offered and their pricing. Though I chose to bring in many of my own touches, such as my own bouquets and our pastor, they offered everything we would have needed. However the results that we got on our wedding day we not worth the savings.

First, they showed up late to set up our chairs and wedding arch, so that our guests had to wait for the area to be set up. Then, while waiting for the bride and bridesmaids, he complained not only to the groom but to the guests, that he had another wedding at 7:00. Our wedding was scheduled for 6:30.

So though we were originally told we would get a 45-60 minute photo session with lots of romantic photos on the beach, we were rushed through and only got two "romantic" photo poses which were taken on the sand with weeds and buildings in the background.

It was a gross organizational error to schedule two weddings so close together and it resulted in our receiving terrible service. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. It seems like a good deal but there are other companies and even hotels that offer beach weddings for comparable prices and I think it would be well worth a little extra money to go elsewhere.
