Mary works from her home. Despite this, she is very busy with weddings almost every weekend. She does a wonderful cake tasting and offers a lot of variety. Her designs and creativity is great. She made our Groom’s cake (2 college mascots). The cake was very delicious.

The cake was good and super cheap. They only do pound cakes but offer sheet cakes also. This bakery is constantly busy and everything they make looks delicious. My only wish is that there had been a few more flowers on my cake. All in all, it was a minor issue.

This online vendor is fabulous! If you find a dress you like online or at another store, you can call them with the style and designer name and they will give you a price quote. They are significantly cheaper than most stores. Local stores wanted $180-190 for the bridesmaid dresses I chose and Pearl’s Place charged $88-$96 each plus $12 shipping per location. The dresses also arrived a little faster than expected.

This event was useful, but since I had already booked most of my vendors, I didn’t find it as helpful as a newly engaged bride. There were a number of cake tastings and some really great vendors. It was also helpful to meet a lot of caterers that are not linked to a certain location.

I brought a list of dresses I’d seen on the web site and wanted to try on. My consultant brought me all those dresses and one (to begin with) that she thought I should try. In the end, after 2.5 hours of trying on dresses, I ended up purchasing the dress she suggested. Despite the 3 month wait I expected, my dress arrived in 10 days.

On Friday nights, they have a male review. I got in free as the bride and my Maid of Honor was also free. This was a very entertaining show. We left with our cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing so much. Some of the guys were hot, some were not, but they all entertained us. The big negative is the very expensive drink price.

For my bachelorette party, we were able to get one of their small private rooms for about 10 people. The food was wonderful, affordable, and the staff was great. The room had the table close to the ground and allowed us some privacy from the other patrons. They also let us bring our own wine.
