My experience shopping for a dress was 2 stars but my experience going with my friend to shop for her dress was a 3.

I had heard great things about Trudy's but I was truly underwhelmed. I don't even remember the name of my consultant because frankly, it's like she wasn't even there.

I had already gone shopping before so I told her what I was looking for, specifically what I didn't want and my budget. I was taken to the dressing rooms and asked if I needed a bustier. I didn't but she brought one anyways saying the dress would fit better with one on.

She walked in with a couple of dresses that somewhat fit my criteria. I tried them on and each one I walked out with to show my sister was a no. She didn't really offer her opinion even when I asked her what she would put me in. She brought some dresses that I didn't even try because they had what I specifically told her I didn't want. Why bother showing and bringing dresses that I said I didn't want?

After one dress where I walked out to show my sister, the consultant said that she wasn't sure if she had any others but that I should walk around to see if any caught my eye. There I was walking around the store in a wedding dress looking for another to try on. Seriously?

Obviously I didn't buy a dress from them.

I wish I had the consultant that my friend had. I went with her here, and her consultant sat down with her to talk about the wedding, where and when it was going to be, what styles she was interested in if any, what she didn't like or want and her budget. She actually had a conversation with her! I wish mine did this.
She brought dresses that fit my friend's criteria and brought others that she thought would look good on her. I swear each dress she walked out in fit her great, she looked awesome and it totally fit what she had in mind. She wasn't ready to buy that day but she walked out with more clarity of what styles fit her and what she should be looking for. The consultant was super friendly and very accommodating.

This review is about a year and a half late but here it is.

I bought my wedding dress here and it was fantastic!

I had gone to other stores already and knew what I was looking for so I gave my consultant Cristina my parameters and she went around and picked dresses that fit what I was looking for and others that she thought I should try on.

Cristina was a huge help and went above and beyond helping me get in and out of dresses, looking for a matching veil and suggesting styles that I hadn't even thought of. She knew what would fit my body and I completely trusted what she brought in for me to try on.

I went shopping with my sister and by that time, we had seen and tried on a lot of dresses so we were pretty calm and not all that excited about trying more on. After a couple that were just ok, I came out with one where my sister just plainly looked up from the magazine she was looking at and said "Wow." That's the one everyone liked. Even the other ladies in the store said the dress was perfect.

I didn't buy my dress the same day but I came back with my BFF and when I saw her tears, it cemented that I needed to have this dress.

I would call to get updates and Nikki (consultant or supervisor?) was super friendly and helpful in getting me all the information and following up with me.

When my dress came in, I was able to try it on again to make sure it fit well and was the petite size I ordered. They suggested alteration places but I had my own tailor so I just paid the remaining balance and walked out with my huge white garment bag and my gorgeous dress.

I have already recommended this place to friends and highly recommend Cristina. She's fashionable, personable and listens very well to what you want.

The best money we spent for the wedding was hiring Simply Perfect- It's Your Day! as our Day of Coordinator. Sophie is friendly, professional, efficient and experienced. The stress that most people encounter the day of their wedding was non-existent for us since Sophie and her assistant Jenny took care of everything. They set up the reception and it turned out even better than we planned. She followed the timeline and kept the day flowing with no issues. She has an arsenal of items in her emergency kit so whatever happens, she's ready for action. Sophie and Jenny also did the tear down and packed up everything in a fast and orderly manner. No detail was left to chance and everything really was Simply Perfect. They went above and beyond our expectations and let us enjoy our wedding day. We've gotten positive comments from our guests not only about Sophie but also the nice touches she added to the day that made people say "wow.". She has packages to fit every need and has a great attention to detail. She understood our vision and made it even better the day of. We highly recommend Simply Perfect and their services. We would use them again in a heartbeat! We could not have asked for a better Day of Coordinator.

One of the biggest decisions during the wedding planning process is choosing a photographer. Don’t forget these are pictures that are going to last forever! After all the planning and money spent on one day, you want to make sure the photos reflect what’s important. Not just pictures and moments, but also the emotion behind them. We couldn’t have made a better decision than picking Thai Mai as our photographer for our November 2009 wedding.

Upon our initial meeting, Thai had a professional and friendly attitude. He also had great pictures. He has an eye for capturing a couple in their truest form. He hadn’t done that many weddings when we met with him but he was quickly filling up his schedule. He was the photographer for a friend’s wedding and when we saw her pictures, it sealed the deal. We booked him and Giao (his wife and 2nd photographer) and knew that we were going to have good pictures. We met once before the wedding just to talk about what we envisioned for our pictures, what was important for us and any special shots that we wanted to make sure he captured.

The day of the wedding, Thai was on time and unobtrusive and got some of fantastic shots. Though our ceremony location had some limitations on where he could shoot from, he had no issues and just worked around it. During our portraits, he would listen to us, make us laugh and really put us at ease. The hubby and I are hams and Thai just clicked away even when we were being dorky. Those dorky moments are some of our favorite shots! He really captured ‘us.’ At the reception, we hardly noticed he was there. He just blended in with the guests and was able to get great moments filled with emotion. We’ve gotten great comments about how easy he was to work with and how great he and Giao vibed with everyone. He didn’t have any issues capturing a fun Latin fiesta! We not only got good pictures, we got GREAT pictures! When we saw the teasers, I got teary eyed. When we saw the slideshow, I cried. When we got all the proofs back, forget it, waterworks galore! We could not be happier with the results. We laughed, we cried, we were shocked at how much he captured and we were thrilled with his work. I would highly recommend Thai and Giao to anyone looking for a photographer. I’m already looking forward to him capturing more moments as our lives progress.

Her photography really captured who we are and she made us feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time. She's super nice, friendly and full of creativity. She had us doing things that we wouldn't have thought of but was totally "us." She has a passion and talent for photography and it shows in her work. She will do a consultation with you and show you her work which ranges from engagement sessions, weddings, and portrait photography. She really has an eye for taking beautiful pictures and uses editing elements that are undetectable but really bring out the best in the photos. Rosaura is detail oriented, very professional and easy to work with. It felt more like a day with a friend than a photoshoot. She has a lot of stamina too! We shot for hours and her energy level never dropped. Her suggestions never stopped and the quality of her work never faltered. She's got top notch equipment, back up equipment, back up photographers and all that other stuff they tell you to look for.

We were amazed at how gorgeous her pictures were. We had a hard time picking out the ones we liked since we liked them all. We loved our engagement pictures so much we booked her to do our aftershoot. We're super excited about it since we plan on doing more of a couples boudoir session mixed in with some trash the dress elements. We can't wait!

She has lots of packages to choose from or you can select her a la carte pricing. She's totally worth it!
