We booked our honeymoon online, so we never dealt with a person directly until we arrived in Punta Cana. However, once in the Dominican, we had no problems. The staff was friendly and our transfers were on time. We’ll definately be using Apple the next time we book a vacation.

Jenny and Alex were by far my favorite vendors. Jenny spent the entire morning with me and my girls as we got ready and I never even realized she was there. Alex spent a few hours with the guys prior to the ceremony and from what my husband says he was great and unobtrusive. At the wedding I never even saw them but I know they were there from all the pictures. They stayed longer that what we’d paid for and got some great pictures. By the end of the night they were like part of the family. I’ve recommended them to anyone that asks about photography, and my sister who is getting married in May 2010 will more than likely be using them.

Over all we had good service with S & K, however we had one groomsmen, in the Marines, who wound up getting orders for deployment after he’d put down his deposit and partial payment- and they weren’t willing to give him is money back.

We spent our honeymoon at the Ocean Blue Golf & Beach Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Except for not having hot water the first day, this resort was great! All-inclusive, alcohol included. The resort staff was also very friendly. We had a fantastic time at this resort-- great for honeymooning!

We reserved a hotel block at both the Best Western and the Hilton in Springfield, VA. We were very disappointed in the service at the Hilton, lost reservations, etc. But the Best Western was great except for a few minor housekeeping issues.

The Hilton was my worst vendor by far. We reserved a hotel block at their Springvield, VA location. They lost my husband and my reservation as well as about half of the guests that were staying at the hotel. They tried to charge me for a room, I never got, as a no-show.

We did our own flowers through American Floral Distributors. AFD was reasonably priced and when they lost a box of our flowers, they responded quickly to my email and got me the right stuff with in hours.

I knew Mike and Lisa from close friends, but they’d since moved to New York. However, they were willing to travel and they don’t charge you extra to travel to your reception. They kept the dance floor full all nite. They did a wonderful job entertaining our guests at the reception.

Elizabeth Ann Seton Church provided a wedding planner that helped with everything at the Church. It was great- we just filled out a questionnaire and the planner took care of everything. On the day of the rehearsal, she was there with her helpers and they ran everything smoothly.

The staff at the Waterford was FANTASTIC!!! They took care of everything, from set-up to clean-up. From planning to execution they got everything just right. I didn’t really eat much at the reception. However, my guests are still talking about the food from the reception. My sister-in-law is getting married next year and though she's not using the Waterford for her reception, she hopes to have food as good as theirs!
