I wore a Sophia Tolli Skye dress for my wedding and absolutely loved it. Skye was MADE for a woman with curves. The dress hugged me in all the right places. The material looked fantastic in person and on camera. The offset assymetrical pickups and back detailing were so flattering giving the dress a retro/vintage feel.

I received soo many compliments on my dress and felt amazing wearing it.

Sophia Tolli is definitely a designer to watch.

I was a fan of Beckys work before we booked her for our May 09 wedding and Engagement Session.

Our Engagement session was amazing. We did our shoot at Millenium Park in Chicago. Becky knew all the spots to take great photos. I was beyond impressed with her knowledge of lighting, motion shooting, portraits and most of all capturing candid moment between my fiance and me.

When we received our photo DVD I couldn't stop looking at them. Immediatelly I ordered photos to give out as gifts for my shower, some to put up at the wedding, made a guest book etc etc. We received so many compliments of the photos that were displayed at our house and our reception. My aunt can't stop gushing about the photo I sent as a thank you for coming to the shower. Becky captured our true fun loving nature. It was amazingly easy working with Becky, she made us fee at ease and we hit it off from the start.

When our wedding day rolled around I was beyond extatic to work with Becky again. She came EARLY and ready to work. She shot me getting ready, coming out of the house, in the limo...during the ceremony Becky and her assistant were quiet and professional. After the ceremony she captured all the poses I requested including a big group shot with all of our guests! She directed our guests and us and was very efficient and timely. The photo shoot at the park got sooo creative! Becky is very aware of her surroundings and uses all opportunities for photo ops.

At our reception both her and the assistant were working non-stop...before they left Becky told my husband and I she scoped out a cool brick wall that would make for some great night shots. Right there we had a mini photo shoot! It was soo amazing.

I can't wait to see our wedding photos. One of my favorite vendors to work with!!!

Follow up after we receive our wedding photos.

I can't even describe how happy I was with my hair for my wedding. I had a trial with Livia and loved it but after the trial I decided to change the do a little. Day of Livia was on time and ready to work. She did 4 bridesmaids, my moms and my hair. When she finished with my hair I was in awe. Perfect vintage do! I got soooooo many compliments on my hair, everyone said I looked like a vinage movie star or someone out of a magazine, which naturally made me feel so good. I honestly didnt want to take it down. My mom who usually hates when the salon does her hair after a cut LOVED her big hair and bridesmaids expecially my sister were sooo happy and looked so beautiful. My sister also had a vintage-ish do and it was amazing. One of my bridesmaids had dread locks and Livia pinned them up soooooo stylishly! Everyone raved about our hair.

Livia delivered much more than I expected and I honestly felt amazing because of her. I can't recommend her enough. My hair was beyond beautiful because of her. I wish I could have her do my hair all the time!

HIGHLY recommend. This is money more than well spent. The compliments you'll receive will be worth it!

I have had my makeup done by Sonia 3 times now and each time I couldn't believe her talent. I love Sonia and it really was amazing having her be a part of my day. I was so happy with my makeup. I had mile long lashes!!!! I was in love with my lashes and received soo many compliments on my makeup and eyes! My mom for the first time ever got her makeup done by a professional and had eyelashes put on as well and all her friends were jealous. My husbands sisters also had their makeup done for the first time and loved the way they looked. All the girls looked beautiful and fresh. Sonia knew exactly what to do for each girl to make her beautiful and unique.
Makeup lasted through dancing all night long!

I felt soo amazing on my wedding day.

Sonia kindly gave me the lipstick and gloss she used on me so I could reapply during the wedding...not only did I reapply during the wedding I used the gloss everyday on my honeymoon. She picked the most perfect color for my skin. I received many compliments on my lipgloss on Honeymoon.

Highly recommend. Definitely worth every penny!

I signed my contract for May 30 09 wedding in December and its a good thing because Lido books fast. It's truly a hidden gem in city reception venues. Their prices are unbeatable and their customer service is superb. The owner took the time to show us the venue twice before we signed the contract. They have two superb wedding packages (and others ready to be customized to your liking). Their all inclusive package is amazing.

After wedding:

Amy was great to work with and I was really happy with her services and glad we spent the money on a DOC.

Amy came up with a timeline, was at rehearsal and all day with us the day of the wedding, she coordinated the ceremony, oversaw setups at reception, cleaned up, packaged and delivered our gifts, card box and some decor to our home at the end of the night, she brought the top tier of the cake (which I totally forgot about) and put it in the freezer!

She made sure we were being taken care of, ran interference with vendors, paid the vendors, made sure the guests were taken care of, assisted with cake cutting etc etc. When the candy buffet ran out she moved some take out containers to the sweet table so that guests could take that home too.

I've got several compliments on Amys professionalism during the wedding. She was an absolute pleasure but also was on top of her game and did what she needed to get the job done.

I highly recommend Amy, I was able to enjoy my day without a care in the world... she took care of everything!

I recently signed a contract for Day-Of services with Amy from Vaught Events and am so pleased. She will be available during the rehersal and will be with me all day on wedding day. She's extremely professional and knowlegable regarding vendors. Right off the bat she gave me fantastic pointers for invitations and ceremony.
