I met Patricia at the Brest Cancer silent auction event where I “won” her after placing a bid. I had looked up information on officiants and when I talked to her there I just fell in love with her- It also warmed my heart to see her donate her time and talents to such a worthy cause. We were a little concerned about finding an officiant who understood that we’re not religious yet wanted some mention of a prayer or something to please FI’s family. She was more than understanding and was on board with everything we wanted to do. We also told her right away that we were so over the unity candle and sand ceremony but that we wanted something to symbolize unity but that was also unique. She came back to us with 4 different ideas and of them we loved the handfasting ceremony- origin of “tying the knot” it fit us perfectly with the questions you ask and everyone came up to us after to tell us they’d never seen that done before the that the questions were so true to what a real marriage is like.
The photobooth was a huge hit and we literally laugh out loud when we page through our guest book. What an awesome way to remember our wedding day- laughing and remember how much fun we had along with our guests. Truly made the night unforgettable. The photo booth attendant was wonderful- friendly, professionally and super sweet. She talked to us about our wedding and gave so many compliments. Love love love the photobooth and so happy with our decision to use it as our favors, guest book and entertainment- can’t go wrong with a 3 in 1 deal!
We had our ceremony and reception at Bearpath and it was beautiful!! Our guests loved the convenience of having everything all at one location. The ceremony was held under a huge white pergola with adorable white chairs lined up. We didn’t have to go any where for pictures because the scenery at Bearpath is so beautiful. Reception held our 170 guests nicely. We loved that the bar was in the same room as the dinner and dance floor. Staff is very professional and made us feel like a king and queen. Our food was delicious! What was nice is we were able to attend a wedding fair type event at Bearpath and see tables set up with center pieces and everything- they let you try ALL the food so you know you’re picking what you want. You can also walk around and talk to different vendors that are familiar with Bearpath. People think that because it is located in a gated community and on a private golf course they can’t get married there and it’s the exact opposite! Prices compare to everywhere else in the cities. We only heard good things about the venue, staff, scenery and food. Absolutely love this place!
Melissa was WONDERFUL to work with- she’s a total type A perfectionist- exactly the type of person you want working on wedding stuff. She hand made 600 mini-tarts for our wedding… talk about time consuming- and with that said every single little one looked flawless. They were delicious- our guests depowered them and we got so many compliments on having tarts instead of wedding cake- really one of the best decisions about the wedding we made. Melissa also (at NO extra cost) made menu cards for each table- she asked the fonts and colors we were using and made adorable little menu cards for each table that told guests which flavored tarts were at which table and to get up and mingle and try them all out. We used the tarts as our center pieces and had them displayed on covered cake stands. This was such a huge hit with our guests and it got people up and moving around after dinner.
Heather with Divine Designs LLC did an amazing job on my escort cards. She has a lot of attention to detail and I could tell she really took the time to care about not only the escort cards but my entire wedding. She made 158 escort cards for me in no time flat- and not only did I have to change a few names and tables on her at the last minute- she was very accommodating and flexible. I would use Heather's talents again in a heart beat.
