We stayed here the night of the wedding and got an awesome deal. I think we paid $100 and got a late check-out. We were also supposed to get free champagne and strawberries, but since we got there so late (2am), they said they didn’t have any staff there to do that for us. Um, what time do they expect weddings to end? Anyway, they made up for it by upgrading us to the executive suite at no charge. The room was awesome – I'd recommend them!

We booked Kristyn at the last minute with only a couple months to go. I was kind of regretting not booking a videographer and decided to go out on a limb and check her availability, even though she books up well over a year in advance. Luckily she had a cancellation on our date. To whomever that other May 24 bride was: thank you! Kristyn was awesome to work with pre-wedding and she was amazing on the wedding day. Everyone in the bridal party and all of our guests were saying how creative she was (like laying down on the concrete to get the perfect shot, waiting for the perfect moment of the sunset, etc.) She and Emily were an awesome team, probably because they have such similar styles. We received our wedding video and absolutely LOVE it. It’s perfect!

Emily is absolutely amazing. I can honestly say she feels more like a friend than a wedding vendor. She arrived at our hotel room right on time, snapping pics from the hallway of the room number before she even came in. She just has such a great aura about her that makes people feel so relaxed and comfortable. I swear sometimes I forgot she was even there b/c she blends in so well and just kind of seems like one of the girls hanging out. We also had engagement pics done by her and loved those too. Our wedding pictures turned out great and we are still working on designing our album. I highly recommend her!

He was great to work with up until the week before the wedding, when he tried to convince us to change a bunch of things around and do it “his way” instead of how we had always envisioned our ceremony. We ended up sticking with our original plan to do it our way, but we were annoyed none the less. Then on the day of the wedding, he included a prayer into our ceremony even though we had specifically asked him not to, as my husband and I are atheist. This made us very upset and when we confronted Rev. O’Grady on this after our honeymoon, he claimed that we had asked him to add the prayer section back into the ceremony and would not even apologize. I would never recommend anyone to work with him. It would be one thing for him to mess up and to admit to his mistake, but he did not and tried to put all the blame back on us. He handled the whole situation very unprofessionally.

The groom, his six grooms men, the 2 dads, and the ringbearer got their tuxes from Men's Wearhouse in Novi and everything was absolutely perfect. They were ready on time, everything fit everyone perfectly, and the tuxes were in great condition. Definitely recommend them.

Tifany is so talented and so great to work with. She always responds to emails within a few hours and is always so receptive to ideas, criticisms, etc. I loved loved loved all of our paper products (invites, seating chart, memory candle, and table numbers). We only had one small issue at the end of the shade with the fuschia color not being correct on our seating chart, and then the fonts also got messed up on the chart, so she had to re-do it anyway. But she fixed it and made it correct (for free obviously) and was great about making sure we were happy with the final product. Like she said to me, people make mistakes, but what really matters is how they fix them and make it right. I love her!

Bruce and Jairus at Weber’s were awesome to work with. They were so patient with me when I changed my mind a million times about types of flowers, colors, etc. We didn’t have any reception flowers, just bouquets and bouts and corsages. They also supplied the small gerber daisies that went on top of our centerpiece cakes – they looked awesome! They did short us two grandmother corsages on the day of the wedding; we were supposed to get 5 and they only delivered 3. I tried calling the office before the ceremony but nobody answered. They refunded the money for them though, plus some, so that’s good. Overall, I’d recommend Weber’s!

Kurt was awesome. A little hard to get a hold of a few weeks before the wedding, but in his defense, he had a wedding or a prom every single weekend before. We were kind of worried about his work since we never met him in person until the day of the wedding, but he really pulled through and did an awesome job. The one thing we were a little disappointed about is that he didn’t do the garter toss. We did something different and did the anniversary dance, and I gave my bouquet (well, a BM’s bouquet) to the longest married couple there. Then Kurt had Keith give the garter to them too. We had planned on throwing the garter, so we were kind of bummed. But oh well. Anyway, he was so helpful throughout the entire night and guided us through all the steps of the cake cutting, first dances, etc. He also brought us and the bridal party drinks and food right after the ceremony was over before we took pics, which was great. His prices are great and I’d recommend him!

Jonas at Panache was great to work with from the very beginning. He was always calling and emailing to check in on things, and he was a huge help when it came to choosing our songs to be played during the ceremony. I didn’t even see the harpist and flutist at the wedding, but from what I could hear and what guests told me, they sounded great!

Laura and Elaine were awesome to work with and gave us a great deal on our cake centerpieces since we had so many of them! They are both such sweet, caring ladies and they were so awesome to work with. The cakes also tasted AMAZING and the guests were raving about them. We also loved our small 2-tiered cake that we used to feed the bridal party – it was exactly what I envisioned and they did it perfectly. They also give you a free 6-inch anniversary cake for free, so we are looking forward to that. Highly recommended!
