Anthony's Formal Wear was great to work with. The mens' ties matched the BM dresses perfectly and we had no problem with any of the tuxes. Not to mention, the cost was the cheapest we found in Omaha. I would definitely recommend Anthony's!

I wish there was a rating beyond five stars I could give Anthony's Steakhouse; having my reception there was one of the best parts of my wedding.

WOW. My reception BLEW ME AWAY. Anthony's newly remodeled reception room is incredible. I booked Anthony's sight unseen (during the renovations). Although I was nervous, I was assured that they would do whatever it takes to make our day what we wanted it to be. Christina, the banquets coordinator, is FABULOUS. She has been in the catering business for years and years. She has a great personality and was so easy to work with. Within 15 minutes of meeting her, I knew that she was going to do a great job with my reception. I dropped of all of my reception decorations to her Friday before the wedding (they decorated and set up everything for me). My decor included three different centerpieces, cake table and guestbook table decor, runners, linens, chair covers, tons of votives, favor donation signs for each table and paper lanterns. The perfectionist in me was nervous about leaving all of that to someone else for MY reception. I should not have been nervous at all because it looked AWESOME. As I walked into my reception for our grand entrance, I literally teared up as I looked around and saw all of my planning and work come together in such a beautiful way. There were paper lanterns all around the dance floor (a little detail I was obsessed with. Tony from Anthony's was so sweet to hang them for me on his beautiful new ceiling), each table was perfect--everything, everything was perfect. There was SUCH an ambiance in the room. I got compliment after compliment on the venue and the excellent food and wait staff.

My sister, who is single, has already verbally committed to having her wedding reception at Anthony's!

Lesley was one of the most accomodating people my husand and I worked with during wedding planning. She took beautiful engagement photos and over 2000 GORGEOUS wedding photos of us. There was not a moment Lesley did not capture on the day of the wedding; I am so very glad I have all of my beautiful memories captured on film. We got all of the rights to our photos meaning would could use them to make photobooks and prints as we wished--a HUGE perk.

I chose Melrose Floral as my wedding florist because of friend of mine recommended her. I am SO happy with my decision; Mel was so wonderful to work with. She incorporated my colors (apple green, champagne, white and ivory) into my bouquet via beautiful sarhara roses and green hydrangeas (and she pinned my first communion rosary to my bouquet); I cried when I saw my flowers-I was SO pleased with them. She also did great work on the bridesmaids bouquets and the bouts and corsages. I love Melrose Floral!

Reception music was one of the most important things to my husband and I. We've been to enough weddings to know that a bad DJ can ruin the reception. Conversely, a good DJ can MAKE a reception, so we were willing to spend a little more money to get a good DJ. Based on recommendations from some friends, Bandstand Music would give us a DJ that would listen to our music wants, read the crowd and keep the party going. We were lucky enough to get DJ Mark, one of the most highly reviewed DJs in the area. It was SO worth it! Our party was AWESOME. Our dance floor was packed all night; Mark was so great at reading the crowd and playing the right music at the right time. DJ Mark and Bandstand Music was one of the BEST descisions we made during the wedding planning process. I cannot recommend them enough.

We were lucky to have been married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Grenta, Neb. This is my parents' home church and it is truely one of the most gorgeous churches I've been in. I could not ask for a more beautiful place to be married. Everything from the prep to the wedding day was a dream. Father Mike Grewe is such a special man; I loved being married by him.

Our reception was held at Anthony's Steakhouse. One of the reasons we chose Anthony's was because of the FABULOUS food. We did a buffet with carved primed rib, lemon pepper chicken, garlic "smashed" potatoes, beans and TONS of fresh fruit and veggies. I cannot even estimate how many people told us, "Your wedding food was the best we've ever had."

My husband and I are not huge cake eaters, so spending hundreds on a fancy cake was not our style (we would rather put the money in a great DJ). We decided to do a cupcake tower and our favorite, chocolate chip cookies. After pricing around, Hy-Vee was by far the best value for our buck. I gave Hy-Vee's cake designers little direction and they totally impressed me with what they came up with. We recieved SO many compliments on our cupcakes and cookies.

I've been a bridemaids several times and paid anywhere from $100-200 for bridesmaid dresses. My goal was to find great dresses for under $100 for my girls. I'd been to several bridal shops in Omaha to try on dresses, and was ready to end. None of the other stores were helpful and the dresses I was given to try on at the other stores were not my style. It was a totally different story when I went to Bridal Traditions. From the moment my mom, sister and I walked in, the salespeople were attentive and helpful. Before I even told them what I was looking for, they were pulling dresses I loved. I was not in the market to buy the day I went there, but ended up finding "the one" and getting it that day.
