Lou is retired but still makes cakes. She came recommended by the Marriot. I loved working with her as she is willing to make my cake dreams come true, but also provided tons of pictures, as I had no idea what my dream cake actually was. She is making a golf cake for my groom, which he is excited about. And she is definitely reasonably priced.

David's Bridal definitely had a great selection of dresses and was easy, so it was a great first stop for dress shopping. I could narrow down my type of dresses. They also had a great selection of veils, which too helped to narrow things done. Overall, I am buying my shoes from them, as they have the largest selection I have seen of shoes that you can actually try on. Their website is also super helpful and full of great stuff.

They also seemed to do this hourly, as they knew what was traditional and popular, etc. Definitely would recommend working with them. And you can pick up and drop off tuxes anyway, which helps for grooms out of town and also with a destination wedding of sorts.

Lagacy Family Ministries offers a premarital class called Countdown. It is great! They give you a binder with exercises you work through, but the weekly teachings done in small groups are amazing! I have read many books on marriage, but their insight comes from working with hundreds of couples.

They are located near my wedding and therefore I am able to spend the hundreds of dollars I would have spent for delivery into more flowers. They are flexible and fun to work with.

So far so good, but we have had some trouble with communication between us and them. They were great about providing suggestions for different vendors.
