I met with Alison and immediately clicked with her. She is so organized and was always willing to answer any questions I had about the wedding. She helped me make calls when I didn’t have all the RSVPs in on time and created a budget spreadsheet to make sure all our payments were made on time. She and Sommer came to the hall the Thursday before the wedding and spent the whole day with us setting up the hall. On the day of the wedding, they were there and made sure everything ran smoothly. We had a few small issues, but they took care of it and did not bother me with anything. I didn’t even know about some of the small stuff until the day after! They are totally worth the investment!

We rented the 22 passenger limo bus. It showed up on time to take us to the church and was very clean/comfortable. Our driver, Mark, was very nice and offered to take stuff out to the limo for us. He had a GPS and knew exactly where to go the whole day. He even stayed 30 minutes over his time because we were running late with pictures and did not charge us anything. The limo price was pretty reasonable as well.

I really can’t review Mark Jones completely because I haven’t seen the final product. But he was very professional and did what the contract said he would. He came to the rehearsal the night before to check out the church, which was comforting. He showed up at our house at 10:30am to start taping and didn’t leave the reception until after 10pm. We will not get our video back for a few months, but I’m sure it will be great!

The chair covers looked beautiful! They came and set them up on Thursday when we were at the hall and I could not believe the transformation. The price includes set-up, which is so nice. There was a small issue with the pick-up, but I think it was just a communication error. I already got my deposit check back from them too.

Overall the rentals went ok, but there were a few minor things I didn’t like. First they dropped the rentals off and went looking for someone to sign for them instead of calling my cell phone, which I specifically told them to do. Then some of our gold over-lays had small snags/holes in them, which I guess is to be expected, but I didn’t like that. The only other thing is they charged me full price for a table skirt because they claim some wax was spilled. They never told me about that policy, so it was kind of a surprise. But in fairness to them, they delivered everything they were supposed to on-time, picked it all up and the breakage/replacement charges were small except for that table skirt.

Jesuit Hall was originally built in the 1800s, but was remodeled in 2007. The hall is beautiful with a marble top bar, huge windows over-looking the river and barrel-roll ceilings with chandeliers. The format worked out really well because the bar is outside the main ballroom. So people could mingle out there and then dance in the main ballroom. The only downfall is the caterer’s kitchen they built. It is very small and only has 2 small sinks. No ovens to warm any food. I think my caterer struggled with it, but everything worked out in the end.

Cary and Stephanie did an amazing job of being everywhere on our wedding day! They took so many pictures…I have no idea if they even sat down to eat. Our coverage started at 11am and should have ended at 9pm, but they stayed until 11ish to get our sparkler send-off. They definitely went above and beyond and I cannot wait to see all the proofs in a few weeks. They are worth every penny we spent!!!

As far as I know, we had no problems with the tuxes. Everyone’s fit pretty well and they all came in the right colors. Men’s Wearhouse is also very convenient since we had GM all over the country. They could try the tux on where they lived and pick it up there or in St. Louis.

Elaine helped us find the perfect wedding bands. My engagement ring is also from this jeweler and I have no complaints about it. This jeweler has a huge choice of diamonds and settings and all of their jewelry is very high quality.

So easy to work with and very professional! I loved my invites! Ame took my inspiration and created an invite that match exactly. She gave me plenty of font and color choices, too.
