My daughter was able to sit down with the back and design exactly what she wanted! It was EXACTLY as promised! I was thrilled!

I actually loved this vendor. I was very, very, very pleased with the look of her dresses. The workmanship was excellent and her service was really superb. She actually had to make the same dress for a little flowergirl who is a stout size 14 at the age of 7. The other little dress she made was for a little girl who wears a size 6. I ordered the same dress as Jkiss and it came out beautifully. I have since recommended Sweet Plume to many brides and they have been equally happy. Check my bio for photos.

First, please note that the Brides who have given Dress My Chair 5 stars have never posted on Project Wedding nor do they have bio pages. Those who have given Dress My Chair poor reviews have been active members of Project Wedding and most of you know us. I would be more than happy to answer specific questions if you send me a private message!

I don't even know where to begin as I review this vendor. This is the ONLY vendor that I had a problem with. I spent in the neighborhood of $3,000 for chair rentals, linens, chair tie (service to tie them only because I owned them) and chargers.

1. Beware, the charges do not include delivery. I was disturbed because I was charged tax on the delivery which can legally only be done If their own trucks are used. I called the State Franchise Tax Board to verify. Dress My Chair used rental trucks.

2. I negotiated my contract with Dress My Chair in December of '08 and payment in full was required at that time. I've never heard of such a thing, but I went ahead and brought Jennifer cash which represented payment in full for our September '09 event. In April I received a bill for approximately $35 from Dress My Chair stating that since my event was taking place after April '09 and the tax rate increased from 7.75% to 8.75% that I was responsible for the difference. This after I had paid IN FULL for my event in December '08. Perhaps this could legally be done, however, I felt that it was a VERY POOR business practice for a client who spent $3,000, who paid in full months in advance and who had already contacted the State Franchise Tax Board regarding the tax charged on delivery using rented trucks.

3. In December I was very clear what and when deliveries needed to be received by my venue. I still did not have final confirmation from Dress My Chair on the delivery times for my rentals until a few days in advance of my event.

4. When I went to make additions I was told that I'd need to rush money down to Dress My Chair, but then I was told that Jennifer had very little time to meet with me. In addition, I tried to get a firm price from her regarding my additional items and she didn't get back to me with that until I threatened to use another company.

5. I gave her my chair ties months prior to my event, however I gave her a sample chair tie because she wanted to "match" my satin with the overlays. She basically told me that my chair ties were inferior to her chair ties but agreed to tie them for me for a price, which was 1/2 of what I paid for each chair tie in the first place. P.S. The satins didn't match anyway, not even close!!!!

5. I had a very specific way that I wanted the napkins folded. I brought her my menus to have folded into them. These were FAR from dinner napkin size!!!! And I have NEVER seen a napkin folded like the napkins were folded for our event. It looked terrible. Luckily the venue had the staff to re-fold all of the napkins.

6. I was charged an additional $200 for the chairs to be picked up the same evening that the event took place.

7. I did have the opportunity to rent an additional 150 chairs from another vendor for $5 per chair including the delivery, set up and pickup. That was $1 per chair plus the delivery charge, plus the extra pick-up charge that I was charged by Dress My Chair.

8. Dress my chair did not deliver the chairs when all of the other deliveries were made the day before my event. They delivered them just before the event.

9. Dress my chair did the linens for a second event that I had attended and was the DOC for one month later and delivered chairs that were damaged! But that pails in comparison to the grief that Jennifer caused that bride.

10. That second wedding was the wedding of my niece and Jennifer passed along private conversations between my sister (MOB) and Jennifer to me. This was uncalled for and cause big problems between my sister and I. I was the Mother of the Bride as well.

11. Jennifer was very rude to not only my sister regarding her wedding, but my brother in law. She played some interesting computer games and it seems that she changed already signed contracts to reflect different pricing. I feel confident giving "second hand" information because I was the Day of Coordinator for that wedding. Please refer to my sister's comments when she makes her detailed reviews.

12. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. OUR VENUES HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS. JENNIFER IS IN THE SERVICE BUSINESS AND HAS VERY LIMITED PEOPLE SKILLS!!!!!!!!

As I said, I am more than happy to recommend my good vendors, but this vendor is the WORST of WORST!!!! Do not use Dress My Chair under any circumstances!!!! And it's come to my attention that "Dress my Chair" has now become "Dress My Party." Beware of this vendor!

Mahtab was very good at what she did. She didn't have all that much to do. She seemed pleasant, but it wasn't like she was really inexpensive. I believe that just about anyone could have done what she did for us (she did my MOB dress too) but I was a bit uncomfortable trying someone just because they were less expensive. We asked her to alter the dress we used for my daughter's TTD session and she refused to do it. Whatever...I had someone alter the dress for $25.00 and to be honest...she did a great job!!!!

Victor was amazing! He took over the timeline completely once the ceremony was over. He kept our party moving and people involved and on the dance floor. In addition to Victor who M.C.'d he brought a DJ with him. He did a phenominal job and everyone is still talking about Invisible Touch! This was money that was really well spent. Prices may have been a bit higher...but we feel as though we got the best in the business!

Jerry Fisher Married my husband and I 28 years ago...Believe it or not. He also named our son Jason. Had I known that he was still in the business, I would have hired him to marry our daughter! He's fabulous!!!

I interview at least a dozen photographers prior to ultimately choosing Jeremy Lucero Photography to photography my daughters wedding. He of course inplements a very photojournalistic style and was more than happy to accomodate our special needs for pictures at multiple locations, a customized package including cinemagraphic videography and an awesome creative style. I highly recommend this photographer!

This is the most unique company that I found and I scoured the net for many months. I met with Dina Ben Moshe and she was very helpful. I actually began speaking to them many months before I actually ordered the Chuppah from them. I promise you, you'll find none more fabulous. Dina will work with your budget and will give you ideas and design something absolutely perfect for you. I highly recommend "I Love Chuppahs"

Marina's Manzanita Branches are the "real deal." She has a seriously endless supply of whatever size, shape and color (Natural red's to gray's) you're looking for. I purchased 20 five footers from her and they are far superior in color and fullness to any other dealer's trees!!! Not only did she allow us to choose from a forest full of trees, she and her husband loaded them into our truck and tied them down too! I have to say that she is one of the most accommodating, honest and fair vendors I have EVER dealt with. Believe me, I shopped and shopped for manzanita for a year and half and NO ONE could touch her fabulous prices. I highly recommend Marina's Manzanitas!!!!
