I knew I wanted to go on a cruise for my honeymoon and one that was atleast 7 days. I did some searching on my own but the prices were way to high! I was told to try Cruise Quick so I did. I was given quotes on different ships comparing prices ad datesvand was also given a discount. I told them I was sailing for my honeymoon and my cabin was decorated! It was an easy process. put a down payment and bought insurance which is cheep through them. Then I made payments so I didn't have to pay it all at once. It was the best cruise ever!

My sister set up my bachelorette party at Howel at the Moon on the beach. It's a bar with two pianos that play familiar songs and change the words to make them dirty or funny. They gave me a t-shirt with things to do (like get a guy to buy a drink...) and two buckets of beer. Also included up to 10 people and appitizers. I had sooooo much fun! There were a few other bachelorettes there and they brought us up on stage to battle! lol we had a dance off and were given prizes. It was a really good night. Great alternitive to going to a strip club!

I first met some of the employees of this company at a bridal show. They were upbeat, and very friendly. My mother and I went to their studio to look at prices at speak to someone about my wedding. They showed us many videos of their DJ's at weddings and told us we'd beable to choose a DJ we liked. Not only did we choose one but we were able to meet him! He costumized our wedding and accomidated any requests I had. He even gave me his cell phone number incase I had to speak to him and it came in handy... I danced the night away at my wedding, everyone commented how much fun they had, even the few suprises he had for us were great. Nothing cheezy either. People still talk about my wedding over a year later!

I went with this vendor because she did the flowers for my sister's and brother's weddings and my family loved her services. However, that was back when she wasn't doing alot of business... It was hard to get an appointment with her and then I could only get one during business hours (no weekends avaliable) so I had to take the day off to meet her. She tried very much to get me to pick flowers I did not want. Finally we agreed on a package. The day of the wedding, though, the flowers were supposed to go to my mothers house (where I got dressed) for photos. They didn't not come and we never recieved a phone call. When my mother tried to get in touch with them, no one answered. They wound up being delievered to the reception hall so someone had to get them for me. When I got my flowers I almost cried because they were wilting!!! I even pulled out a few that were brown!! My maid and matron of honor were supposed to have purple roses in their flowers to stand out but the roses haden't even bloomed! I had to cut flowers and alter ribbions the day of my wedding!! When my mom finally spoke to Blanca (3 days later) she said the job was outsourced because she had alot of weddings that weekend and the flowers were put together friday morning before my wedding (my wedding wasn't until sunday night). Needless to say, we were NOT happy. Luckily my photographer was amazing and touched up the flowers in my wedding pics!
Originally the package I chose at my recption hall included a cake but after meeting the baker, I knew there was know way I wanted to do business with them. But I was on a budget... searching for an affordable, yummy cake that would look great, taste great and feed over 130 people was not easy. I found some beautiful cakes only line but when I called for pricing, a cake for 50 people was over $400! I began to loose hope until I went to Publix and say their wedding cakes displayed. I spoke to the manager of the bakery and he was very helpful. I knew I wanted a white cake with strawberry and cream filling but I wasn't sure if I wanted buttercream iceing or fondent. He made me two sample cakes to take home right then and there. These cakes had 2 layers and were big enough to feed 5 people (medium size slices) and they were free! After making my decision, I went online and found the design I liked and the colors. I went back the next day to order the cake! They even delivered it the day of the wedding. It was the yummest wedding cake many of my guests have eaten.

These ladies are wounderful! I told them what I wanted and what my girls wanted. They did hair and makeup trials and even came to my house for it. They came to me and showed up early the day of the wedding and kept me calm. There were two girls doing hair and one doing makeup. When the girls doing the hair finished, they also helped with makeup. I will use them again when I renewn my vows for my 25th anniversary (haha)

I found my girls dresses in a magazine and fell in loved with them. Searching the internet, I found websites where I could order the dressed but I was wary because how would I know if the dresses would fit them. I found a few local stores that would order them but the price was so much more then priced in the magazie. I was driving to the beach one day when I saw this little "whole in the wall" dress shop. I called the next day and asked if they could order the dresses for me. The owner said not only would she order them but she would measure my girls, order them and alter them for only $120 each dress. I thought it was to good to be true but she did what she said she would do. She even had the dress I wanted for my girls in stock in 3 different sizes as samples. My girls were able to try the dress on before they bought it. She even sells wedding dresses and rents them, I already had my dress or I would have rented one of hers.

When we were looking for tux's for my husband to wear we went to the usual places and he would complain that the material was heavy (he sweats in the winter). We kept searching on the internet for different ideas but I was really set on the men wearing tux's at the wedding. I was in the mall one day when I noticed for the first time Sacino's. I spoke to the saleswoman, who was very helpful, and she explaned to me that their material was a bit more expensive but was better and lighter. At first I thought she was just tring to sell me but I made an appointment for my husband to go in and have a fitting. He tried the first tux on and I expected him to confirm my theory on the saleswoman just trying to get us, but he suprised me when he agreed with the woman. Even my father (who worked in mens formalwear for many years) agreed. Not only was my husband comfortable the day of the wedding, but his tux was free b/c the grooms men got their tux's there too. Also, men out of town were able to get fitted at local stores, although this made me nervous, their tux's were ready and fit perfectly when they arrived a few days before the wedding.

About 3 months before my wedding, the Rabbi who was supposed to marry us told us he would not perform the ceremony because my fiance and I lived together (which he knew when he agreed to marry us 6 months eariler). Because we wanted an interfaith marriage, it was difficult to find someone the first time around and with 3 months to go, we were afraid we wouldn't beable to find someone. My husband called Jews For Jesus and explained to the Rabbi the situation he agreed to meet with us in person. At our meeting he agreed to marry us if we took a few before marriage classes with him (which was fine with us b/c we had been going to classes with the other rabbi)the classes were private and helpful. He then wrote out the ceremony infront of us, making sure that we liked it and really personalized it to us as a couple. We also had the option to write our own vows, which we did. At the wedding, all the guests loved the ceremony b/c it was so personal. Jews for Jesus only asked us to make a donation we could afford to their orginization, they don't put a price on marriage.

When I was searching for the perfect place for my wedding, I went to many different, well known locations and popular country clubs. I liked some of them but what I mostly noticed was the ugly caprets. All's I could think of was how my girls dressed and wedding colors would clash with the ugly carpets. I was searching the internet for other options when my mother found Royal Fiesta. At first I wasn't interested because of the name (sounded to sweet sixteenish for a wedding) but as soon as I saw their ballroom I fell in love! Their ballroom is completely wood floor (your dance floor is not limited) one wall of the hall is mirrors and has lighted sconses to add the romance, chandelers adorn the celing along with a soft blue glow. Another wall of the hall are windows looking out over the intercostal. Beautiful at sunset. The food was amazing! We chose the most expensive package and were still under budget. Robert, the man who owns it (yes you get to meet him) was amazing in accomodating my needs. I truly felt like it was my day and my day only! Only one event at a time takes place there... What ever I asked for was there for me. They even associate with a florist and baker. Infact, I didn't care for the baker they used so they gave me a $2 back per person so I could bring in my own wedding cake. Some of the bried I've sent there booked it and also say the same thing. Just check it out! I bet you'll love it too!!!
