This is a great location if you are having a Kingwood wedding, and on the day of, the staff takes care of EVERYTHING - I was able to completely relax. The wedding coordinator there was a pleasure to work with, and very accommodating.

My only word of caution is that the food prices are misleading. On paper, it seemed like their cheapest buffet option would still be lovely, and well within our budget. When we went to the tasting, however, we were very unimpressed. Upgrading the menu, along with the 20% service charge, set us $5,000 above what we wanted to spend. I ended up feeling tricked, and this alone brought my rating down to three stars.

These invitations were very inexpensive, yet so beautiful. It was the best deal I could find, and I received a lot of compliments for them.

It had always been my dream to wear my mother's wedding gown, and Ana at Sew It Seams helped to make it happen. I'm a bit larger than my mom was, both in length and width, but Ana was able to take fabric from the train to use in these areas, and the final product was flawless. She is expensive, but I had to be very careful in who I chose to work on my mother's gown! Try her if you have a difficult gown to work with, you won't regret it!

This is a great hotel for those in the Kingwood area. We chose this for our hotel block, and the guests who stayed there were very impressed with the accommodations.

GHL Limos did a pretty good job. The driver was prompt, even early, and the limo was well maintained. They do have a four hour minimum, however, and when going from my house to the church, the driver made a wrong turn. Luckily my father was paying attention!

Our first instructor, Kendra, was the one who first drew us in with the sample lessons offered. The lessons we had with her were amazing. Kendra quit, however, and our next instructor was not nearly as good. When it came time to do our first dance at the wedding, everyone seemed to like it, but please, try to get your money's worth and insist on a different instructor if you feel like yours is not up to par.

Gina did a great job of working with our general vision of color and feel. For centerpieces, she originally had three different arrangements for $13, $30, and $77 a piece. When we told her that the $77 centerpieces were not in the budget for us, she removed them without any protest. She was personable, easy to work with, and affordable, and I would recommend her to anyone in the Houston area.

The most delicious cake you will ever eat! Elite Treats handled the wedding cake, the groom's cake, and an alternative dessert with ease. I wanted chocolate-covered strawberries for my wheat-intolerant and vegan friends, and Elite Treats had a vegan chocolate available for our use. Whenever I called, they were always responsive and willing to help. I've heard that they cannot handle some of the more complicated cake designs, but I just looked at pictures of their past work to find a beautiful design that they could execute flawlessly. Believe me, the taste is worth it!

Elegant Beginnings was very easy to work with--we only had to go once, make our linen selection, and everything was taken care of after that point. My only word of caution is that it does get a little pricey if you're inviting a lot of people. I had 220 people, and $800 seems like an awful lot for linens!

Joey, the owner of DJ Brothers, did a fantastic job! Online, we were able to fill out a timeline of the events that we would like to take place - perfect for someone who like to keep things organized as much as I do. Sometimes, in order to keep pace with the reception, he had to break from the schedule, but he never did this without checking with us first. We had general conceptions of what we wanted for the music, which Joey adhered to perfectly. Joey was also key to ensuring that our reception ran smoothly, even managing some of our more unusual requests without any problem. DJ Brothers is very, very highly recommended!!
