Jose Flores altered my Monique Lhuillier dress and it fitted like a glove! It fitted so well and I received so many compliments for my wedding dress. Alterations included were:
- Dress from A-line to mermaid style with added breast cups. This is A+++ since the dress was shapelier and gave me great curves!
- Hem to correct length. A- since it was about half an inch shorter than I would like but that's just me being very precise.
- French bustle. This is difficult since it looked great when I tried it on during my fittings. In fact, it was my favorite thing about the dress. But alas, the bustle did not hold up well and I had to use binder clips to hold the bustle together during the reception. That was an added stress that I did not care for. If only the bustle held up this would have been a perfect 5 stars review.

Candi offers very competitive pricing for bridal veils which was a plus when everything wedding cost an arm & a leg. She's quite responsive to my e-mails and did my veil under 5 days (for a rush fee of course) since it took me a while to figure out what I wanted. On the pick-up day I couldn't meet the time we had agreed on so I left a message with someone at her house to see if I could come by another time that would work for both of us. I'm not sure if the message got to her correctly but she was rude when she called back. But Candi was quite nice in person and she made the most perfect veil for me.

I had to come here thrice for cake tasting because they never have all of the flavors I wanted to try at the same time. So it's not quite there professionally but for the price they offered I could not resist. I'm fluent in Vietnamese so it made the ordering process much easier after I have decided what flavors to choose for our wedding cake. The cake was beautiful but I did not like the icing of our monogram (I provided them a printed design). So be careful of the design you choose for it might not be what you wanted. After all the glitches, the place is friendly enough, the cake looks attractive enough, free delivery, and free of rental fee for the cake stand ($50 deposit that will be returned to you upon the return of the cake stand). A major plus is that I like the way their cakes taste. We had mocha (coffee flavored) & fresh berries for variety but the fresh berries tasted much better. I now order all my cakes through them. I would highly recommend them and bring a Vietnamese friend if you cannot speak Vietnamese yourself. The fresh berries cake is utterly delicious and you cannot find a better price elsewhere.

Brian sang live as well as DJ for my wedding. I cannot say enough how awesome Brian was as our entertainment vendor! Brian has a beautiful voice and he does Coldplay songs so well which we love. I gave Brian a short list of the types of songs to be played at our wedding and he did not fail to sculpt our reception into an elegant affair. The music was beautiful from beginning to end, from live to pre-recorded. We did not have an MC so Brian took on this role as well in announcing the grand entrance and all the wedding activities. Brian is professional, attentive, and always has a beautiful smile on his face. He was perfect for our wedding and he helped made our wedding perfect. I cannot recommend him enough!

We had our wedding at The Villa banquet hall by Lifetime Weddings & Events. One of the main reasons why we chose The Villa at Lifetime Weddings & Events is because it's a one stop shop. Like the previous bride has mentioned, this does not mean that you'll get the best deal but for us we wanted to avoid the hassle of wedding planning as much as possible.
The planning process was rather smooth and our wedding coordinator, Nikki, was helpful. We chose to bring in Cognac to save money so we paid the corkage fee (beware that this corkage fee was taxed again and on top of that an added gratuity). All flowers (except personal flowers) & decors must be done through Lifetime so we ordered floral arrangements for church that could be re-used at the reception. We paid extra for uplights as well as linens and the day before our wedding, they did not have the sweetheart table & the cake table linens to match with the rest of the tables. So we had champagne colored linens for the sweetheart & cake tables but plum for the rest. That was a tiny annoyance but nothing too major. They did waived the linen rental fee just for those 2 tables. I also noticed they had a few rose petals on the signing in table which we did not pay for. One major gripe that I have is that they do not accept more than $7,000.00 (or 1/3 of total cost) credit card charge, so the rest of the balance has to be paid in cash! But other than that, our wedding reception was beautiful! The food which was catered by their sister company, Furiwa, was splendid. I didn't get to eat a lot but all my guests raved about how good the food was. Every dish was fresh and cooked to perfection except for the fried rice which I heard was on the soggy side (but that's ok, it was the last course and everyone was full by that time). All in all, we had a great wedding thanks to the staff at Lifetime Weddings & Events, especially Nikki who took care of things wonderfully & her helpful assistant (I believe it was Liz). I give their execution a solid A. They are quite experienced with weddings and coordinated my wedding quite efficiently. I would give this place a perfect 5 if prices were better.
Adam Glidewell was a dream-vendor. We had our invitations & accessories letterpressed as well as our program covers printed by Adam (these covers were also scored free of charge, it made the folding process less painful). He is the most patient and helpful in terms of figuring out our layouts, choosing papers, and staying within our budgets. We had two separate sets of invitations letterpressed so needless to say it was not inexpensive. But we were able to stick to our budget and I cannot thank him enough because in the end we have the most beautiful invitations. I've received so many compliments from our guests regarding how elegant they look. All invitations were printed on Crane paper and you can feel the quality once you can see and feel it in your hands. Most important of all, Adam is passionate about his works and it shows on the products as well as being quite responsive and patient. One can't ask for more in a vendor. I cannot recommend him enough!
