I had the BEST experience with Jinny's Bridal Center.
I had been searching for the perfect gown for a few months when I discovered THE ONE- a Maggie Sottero dress. ALL of the bridal stores in my area (Northern California) could not get the dress in time (wedding in late June, and it was now March). Some told me to get the size 8 and have it altered (I'm a 2) but I REALLY wanted to get my dress straight from Maggie Sottero (MS) in my correct size. I was starting to get discouraged when FI told me to call every store on MS's website and see if they had my dress in my size in stock.
Jinny's Bridal was the second and last call I made. She was able to get my dress not just on time, but months earlier than I expected, with no rush charge. She was so kind and helpful and told me that her store has a long relationship with MS and is often able to get dresses in before other shops can. She took half of the cost ovr the phone via credit card that day, and in a couple of weeks called to say my dress was in. The second half was charged, the dress was sent and I had my dress three days later. Not only was Jinny's able to get my dress so early at such a last minute time, her prices were much more affordable than anywhere else I'd looked! Including the shipping fee, my dress was less than it would have been at a local store.
I am so happy I discovered Jinny's and I will reccommend the store to everyone I know getting married.
Ed is "the wooden numbers guy". I absolutely loved the look of sparkly rhinestone table numbers and Ed was the perfect resource for the wooden numbers. He also makes cake toppers too.
I emailed Ed my request and he sent me several examples of his work. You have 2 different thickness options; I opted for the thinner profile. I paid via paypal and within 2 days he sent me an email with a photo of my actual numbers. In another 2-3 days my numbers had arrived! The quality was excellent and even my FI was impressed (he can be a tough critic sometimes!)
I painted the numbers a pale mint color and the next day I started applying rhinestones. This project TAKES TIME! I used 3mm sized rhinestones and each digit took me about 2 hours each. It's definitely worth it for the crafty bride though. Everyone has been very impressed with how they've turned out.
Ed is a great guy, he's fast & talented. I would recommend him to anyone looking for wooden table numbers, cake toppers, or anything of the sort =)

For our reception, we are having sushi & Japanese fusion style food. I thought the best idea for favors would be cute chopsticks in our wedding colors, tied with a personalized ribbon. I searched all over online for reasonable rates & nice designs, and I settled on mrslinskitchen.com
I placed an order for a few different styles of chopsticks to see how the quality was and how quickly they shipped. The website is very simple to navigate and payment was a breeze. The sample chopsticks arrived in just a couple of days and I was impressed with the quality and even more, the price. I will be placing the order once I know how many I'll need.
Mrs. Lin's Kitchen offers a variety of Asian products- from food related items (like my fab chopsticks) to books, stationary, tableware and decor- there is a lot to choose from! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to add some authentic Asian flair for any event.
