The people that work at 5S were so GREAT! There show room was very helpful because it had several table’s set up with different linens. The staff went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. There sample showroom had tons of examples of table set ups which is very helpful for a bride to be. The customer service at 5S outshined any of the other table/chair linen rental places that we visited. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their linens as well as the quantity.

The Potpourri House is very elegant restaurant and the food is delicious. My family and I dine their often and my husband and I knew it would be an excellent atmosphere for our wedding party and guests. The menu has a wide variety of foods to choose from for your guests. All menus were preselected by bride and groom for the guests. They had a choice of three entrees. The gift shop in the front of the restaurant was very convenient for guests who did not partake in the rehearsal. The Potpourri House has two event rooms that can be converted in to one secluded away from other dining guests and that makes the event very intimate.

Holiday Inn Select formally the Sheraton in Tyler, Texas is an excellent venue for a wedding reception because the event rooms are so large. It held over 35 large tables with a large dance floor in the middle of the room. The hotel prepared the food and all of our guests raved about how wonderful the food was.

Casey did an exceptional job from the engagement pictures to the bridal portraits and then the amazing wedding photography. I can’t tell you how many people have complimented our photographer and his work. During the reception he brings in a large computer monitor and plays the portraits that have been taken thus far of the wedding ceremony and the bridal party. Everyone at the reception at one point or another made there way to the screen to watch the photographs of the wedding events. Casey did such an amazing job of capturing the love that Matt and I have for one another. I felt famous because he followed us around the entire day snapping over 1400 shots of the wedding day. His love for photography was evident in every photograph that he took and he was such a fun guy to work with. He was extremely hilarious and that’s important on such a big day to be surrounded with people who can calm your nerves. He was so much fun to work with and I would recommend him to anyone getting married. He is very creative and he loves a couple that wants to do creative things. He has been known to photograph couples jumping into swimming pools in their wedding attire after the event. He was probably the best wedding vendor we used because the pictures came out so gorgeous, we will be able to look back on the photo’s taken and treasure every minute of our special day.

I was feeling nervous the day of the wedding and Casey had so many jokes and funny things to say to take my mind off of how nervous I was and make me laugh. He captured every detail, things I would not even have thought to tell him I wanted photographed.

The girls at Paper Planet were amazing. I had an idea in my head for the perfect wedding invitation from the paper to the style of the envelope and these girls worked so very hard to come up with something perfect. The invitations were expensive but they were well worth the money. They were made from brown and pink metallic paper and look gorgeous with ribbon tied around them. I got so many comments on the invitations and how they were the most beautiful wedding invitation they had ever seen. One of our family friends said that she received a wedding invitation at the same time as to a doctors wedding and that our invitations outshined those invitations, which really made me happy because the invitations our invitations were unique.

From the food at the Royal to the swim-up ocean front room our honeymoon was simply perfect. I had never been out of the county and was a bit skeptical of going to Mexico because I have had so many friends go to Cancun to party. I didn’t want our honeymoon to be one big party but my husband (fiancé at the time) put so much work into finding the perfect place for us to spend the first week of the rest of our lives together. It was wonderful and I experienced so many fun things that week from snorkeling in Cancun to jet skiing in the ocean, it was all so much fun!!!! The resort was amazing. My husband had booked a swim up room so when we walked out of our back door we walked right into the swimming pool. There were seven restaurants on the resort and all of them were delicious. My favorite was Asianna because it had a combination of sushi and teriyaki.

Lisa has been my hair stylist for updo’s since high school and she does a fantastic job. I simply bring Lisa a photo of an updo or hairstyle that appeals to me and she creates something that looks gorgeous. I feel like Lisa is in the family because I have known her for so long. She started doing my hair my sophomore year of high school and she encourages me to bring her pictures after the event. I have done just that every time she does an updo for me. She keeps a scrapbook of all the updo’s and hairstyles that she has done over the years and I feel privileged to have a stylist like Lisa who does such a wonderful job. She truly loves her job and that radiates throughout her work. She's in Tyler, TX. Give her a call: Lisa Beasley, 903-561-3333

La Tee Da designed gorgeous flower arrangements for our wedding party. My bouquet was gorgeous. Since Tyler is the Rose capital of the world I wanted to incorporate roses which are my favorite flower. The altar arrangements were pink hydrangeas and the bridesmaids all had different shades of pink roses. The groomsmen wore a single pink rose and my bouquet was a mixture of white Gardenias and gorgeous shades of pink roses and was held together with white satin ribbon.

I was very impressed with owner Robin Butts energy and his passion for music. Both my husband and I love to have fun and Boogie Butts was the absolute best choice for an evening filled with lots of dancing. My friends and I have always loved to dance our booties off and I wanted our wedding reception to be no different. I wanted everyone to be able to get out on the dance floor and enjoy themselves. It defiantly was not lame or boring most of our guests were on the dance floor all night long. I think I danced every song; he played a variety of music and was even very familiar with Texas Country. He had an excellent sense for what would get everyone out of their seats. Initially we had given him a list of songs that we want played and then told him to run with it.

The Cathedral is one of the oldest Catholic churches in East Texas. I have been a parishioner since childhood and this church means a great deal to me. The church is simply stunning without decorations the altar is a gorgeous white marble with massive stained glass windows over the altar and around the entire church. It did not need to be decorated because the detail of the stained glass and the appearance of the church would absolutely take your breath away. The church was very accommodating. I got so many compliments on how gorgeous the church was and how much everyone loved the ceremony.
