My husband is half Arabic, so I wanted to get something for his family. Natalia is fantastic, put on a great show for our guests, everyone was impressed.

Limos were nice and clean. The showed up early, helped me with the dress, getting in an out of the limo. I got a 10% discount because I booked 3 limos and another discount because the lady on the phone didn’t know how to do math. The day of the wedding we ran over the time with the pictures and had to pay a lot of money on the spot, but as long as we got nice pictures, that’s all that matters….

I got a 15 pink rose corsages and 15 red rose boutonnières package for all of our family member, and our readers. They were delivered in perfect condition, they were beautiful didn’t wilt. The only thing is they come with a long stem that you have to cut yourself, with pliers because there’s a wire.

My flowers were beautiful, my bouquet was roses and orchids (24 in total), my bridesmaids had all rose bouquets (5 bouquets), my mom had mini calla lilies for her corsage, my mother in law had miniature roses for hers, and flower girls got flower pomanders. D had an orchid boutonnière, all the guys and dads got rose boutonnières (8 in total), ring bearer had miniature roses. They also did 2 beautiful flower arrangements for the church, and 8 hydrangea pew bows, and a bouquet for the Virgin Mary. The reception had 18 tall arrangements, sweetheart table flowers, and give away bouquet. Plus all the deliveries. Of all the quotes I got, the next cheapest quote was over $1000 more, seriously no one can beat their prices! The only thing, I asked for was a 2nd boutonnière for my husband, because orchids are very delicate (it was destroyed after the receiving line with all the hugs and stuff) and they didn’t include it.

DJ and Gobo
Rob and his assistant played a really good mix of Portuguese, Arabic, and American music. He only made the announcements I had asked, no annoying singing or clapping or whatever on the dance floor. He played music during the cocktail hour for no extra cost. The gobo they did matched the design used on all my paper products, it was perfect. Their prices are also great.
In the beginning they were a major pain in the butt to get in touch with, I almost went with someone else because of that. The other thing I didn’t like was the giveaways, the plastic junk, hats, glow in the dark necklaces, leis, etc. I did not ask for them or pay extra, and they still made an appearance. It totally did not go with the vibe of the wedding, but people seemed to enjoy them.

Video
Video was not important to me, I wanted to have it, but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money for special montages, or other crazy effects. Rob showed me some samples of their videos, they were well taped and edited, perfect for me! The day of the wedding the videographers showed up at my mom’s house, and at D’s house on time, they taped everything, they were always in the background at the ceremony and reception taping. Once I receive my video I will give a full review.

* * Dianne, she is Rob’s wife and co-owner, she is amazing, the day of the wedding she was more like a DOC than videographer. She had everything, a pin, a band-aid, she re-sprayed my hair at the reception, kept asking if I needed something, always telling me to relax, letting me know how everything was going etc. It’s worth hiring her husband just to have her at your wedding. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did.* *

Boudoir Pictures

My pictures were really nice, D liked them a lot. Kamila’s work is really beautiful. I thought it be weird, but I had a lot of fun doing them. I was expecting Kamila to give more directions, help with the poses, than she did. I think its a wonderful experience, empowering almost.
This is the boudoir site http://www.kamilaharrisboudoir.com/ I am on there, somewhere ;)

Neil is very talented, his work is beautiful, easy to work with, he gives you plenty of direction to try and make you more comfortable in front of the camera. He showed up early at my mom’s house, went right to work, during the wedding he was always taking pictures, somewhere in the background, blending in. I have only seen a few teaser pictures, but they are beautiful, I am so happy with them.

My invitations were beautiful, Jessica was very easy to work with, she is very talented, easy to get in touch with, and her turn around time is very fast. My only critique is that she doesn’t edit things unless you tell her to, even if they are obvious, but maybe that’s just the way she does business.

The groomsmen were asked to wear their own black suit, with their own white shirt, with black shoes, D gave them their ties. In case they didn’t have it either, D registered for suits at Dantes. It was a pretty painless process, as they only have 1 style of suit in black. All the gentlemen looked great.

No tuxedos for us. About 90% of the grooms and groomsmen out there never ever worn a tuxedo in their life, save for other weddings or proms, and it shows when they put it on for a wedding. So D got a nice, custom tailored, custom fabric suit. It was just beautiful, it fit him perfectly (duh!), he was comfortable, plus now he was a nice new suit for other occasions. Matt was wonderful to work with, he took all the measurements, he walked D and I through the selection process of the fabrics, selecting the elements that make a custom suit great, etc. Mike, the other owner, helped with the fittings, also he taught D proper techniques for tucking in your shirt, how to tie a tie for a formal event, wear a pocket square properly, what belts work best with a suit, etc. D also got 2 custom shirts from them. He was so happy that he plans to get another suit from them.
