While I thought Honeyfund was fantastic, the concept of a honeymoon registry wasn't as popular as my other registry options. I think that had a lot to do with the customs and etiquette rules in my area. It certainly went over better with the younger crowd. It was a little confusing to some (including myself at first). Basically you write out a list of all the things you would pay for on the honeymoon and then people can "purchase" these things, but all of the money goes to you in a lump sum via PayPal, which charges their fee to allow you to receive funds. NOTE: There is no charge to you or your guests to use Honeyfund. PayPal will deduct their small fees so you can receive the money.

The pictures on their website do not do this place justice. I had a great experience having my wedding here. Overall the staff was very helpful and it helped that they own the place. There was a small issue I had with them when I asked them to hold my date, simply put, they didn't and I had to change my wedding date. Get everything in writing. We rented most of the rooms out for out of town guests, which made the price go up. This vendor will negotiate.
I LOVED my invitations from JeanM. I looked for so long before finding the JeanM site. They are a little pricey, but the quality is amazing. They send me a huge catalog for free, too. If I had had it in the budget, I would have ordered lots more stuff from their catalog. You can design your invites on their site and see exactly what they are going to look like. No guessing games.
