We had all of our guests stay at the Hampton Inn Riverplace downtown since our wedding was just across the river. This proved to be a fantastic option. The rates were reasonable and the location is perfect. Our guests loved being able to walk everywhere downtown and raved about the accommodations.

Pete was amazing to work with. His rates are fantastic and his work is even better. His final product was far and away better than we could have imagined. We love watching the DVD, as it is almost like a movie. He even stayed longer than we had paid for and captured some of our favorite parts of the night. Thanks Pete!! He was a total professional and delivered everything on time.

Saffrons Wrought Iron Hall is absolutely gorgeous and was a perfect place to begin our big weekend. They offer plenty of space for even large parties. The food was wonderful and we had live music, wine and beer with no problems. They are very accommodating and allowed us lots of freedoms with decorating and catering.

Where to begin with Whitebox. I absolutely can not say enough wonderful things about these two women. They are immensely talented. We had them shoot our engagement shots in addition to the wedding. Their personalities are a great match to ours and they never made me feel rushed or posed. They are all about capturing you in your natural state. Their eye for great shots is absolutely amazing. Some of the shots I would have never imagined doing turned out to be my favorite. The wedding album is also one of the neatest things I’ve ever owned. If you are looking for something totally unique, artistic and beautiful, these are the photographers for you!

Laura Schroeder has been doing my hair for years so it was a natural choice for hair/makeup. She takes the time to discovery your personality and what style you want. She perfectly captured “me” only better and I did not look like a made-up clown on my wedding day. Her prices are also very reasonable.

S&D Is fantastic! I had a band in addition to the DJ so I did not need a DJ for the entire night. They were happy to work for only a few hours and they have FANTASTIC rates and an amazing song selection. I am a bit picky regarding music taste and they were the only Djs that had a lot of the bands I liked. They also have some great “extras,” including a slide show that they can set up. This was a big hit at our wedding. Guests loved having photos of us and them throughout the night.

Dr Lawton was a perfect choice for our wedding. He sent us a CD of classic bagpipe songs a few months before the wedding and had us choose the songs we wanted for the recessional. He came to the rehearsal for practice and also played as we left the wedding. He also played for at least fifteen minutes after the wedding party left, which was entertaining for guests to hear as they exited the church.

Everyone told me how delicious the food was that night and they are still talking about it 8 months later. Most weddings I go to, the food is only average. Larkins’ selection was amazing and they totally worked with me to create a mix of items I wanted that were not on their normal buffet choices. They totally let you create whatever you want and are great to work with. The prices are reasonable and they will cater to your every need.
Wyche Pavilion is by far the most amazing venue in Greenville, SC. The history of the old coach factory is amazing and the exposed brick is absolutely beautiful. Larkins was fantastic to work with. They handled every detail from chair rentals to food to alcohol to set up and break down. Kristina is amazing to work with. She literally gets it all done.

Susan was EXCELLENT to work with. I met with her only once to give her a picture of the cake I wanted. It was very affordable, delicious and exactly as we had discussed. I could not have asked for a more beautiful and delicious cake. She made the process very smooth and easy.

Magnolia has an EXCELLENT selection of bridesmaid dresses and DO have the best dresses in town. I bought all of my bridesmaids dresses as a gift and went through Magnolia to get them all. This saved a lot on my budget and they were delivered exactly as described. They were also ordered in plenty of time and I enjoyed their selection. I have also bought a bridesmaid’s dress for another wedding there as well.
