This was a HUGE hit. We had it at the rehearsal dinner and the beginning of the reception. They said the line was constantly there during cocktail hour. This was originally for something else (our offsite receiving line for those that we know), but when plans changed we needed to find a new use for it. I was actually really happy that I made an early decision and was "forced" to have the coffee cart. My only slight disappointment was that they only had strawberry smoothies. I was hoping for a bigger assortment- but the coffee drinks were excellent! Marianne was so nice, courteous and pleasant to work with. For a special added touch (especially for the coffee lovers) this was a great addition!

If you don't have a DOC yet and you want one, PLEASE contact Kate. She is worth her weight in gold and then some. I knew she was awesome when Carl told me we weren't paying her enough. She was way more than a DOC. She helped so much with follow up calls the last week and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it! She was everywhere we needed her to be, on time, courteous and people thought she was my friend. There is something to be said about a DOC with experience and it definitely showed with Kate. She gets my highest recommendation!

Ok, I had heard a lot of horror stories about limos, and when it came to our day-of transportation, I wasn't willing to risk anything. No, Bozzo is not the cheapest limo company around, but the service you receive is unbelievable! They were right on time, the limo was in perfect condition and even with all the road closures, the driver never had a problem! We first went to our reception site, Crystal Gardens, to see the room set-up and I think she got us there in record time (even using the back roads)! Then we were set to go to Greenfield Village to take pictures. It dawned on us that they might be closing at 5pm, and at the time it was 4:30pm. The driver said she would get us there with no problem! We called and found out they were actually open until 9pm, so we had plenty of time, but we sort of forgot to tell the driver. Again, record time! I loved her. For sure, they get my recommendation!

Ok, so I have mixed feelings on CG. For the price- they really are great. The food was phenomenal! Really! Our menu was roasted chicken, round tip of beef, vegetable lasagna, green beans, red skin potatoes, fettuccine alfredo, salad and rolls. Honestly, I could have eaten an entire platter of the lasagna! Everything tasted so good! The bar was great in my opinion. We added a few special things to it, but for the most part it was all them. My few little complaints (and I'm only saying these to give those using them in the future a heads up): we asked that they give our guests an option on cake. We had all the flavors in our menu- they just needed to bring around a variety tray- they did not. They turned the lights all the way on anytime someone spilled something- annoying but I understand they needed to be safe. The part that made me mad though- after all that, my brother in law still slipped and fell on the dance floor from a spilled drink- ugh. Other than that, it's just sort of like pulling teeth to get what you want. Be persistent if there is something you feel strongly about. Overall, they provided a great service at a good price and I would recommend them, just with some caution.

We had Sam and Nichole, a husband and wife team, and they did a phenomenal job! They were everywhere without being everywhere. At about 10:30pm they came up to me and said, "We've taken 5600 pictures." and I stopped him and said, go home! It's rare that you have to tell a vendor to go home and get some sleep. They had been with us literally all day! (oh and they have a 6 week old at home!!) I can't wait to do the post-bridal session! I haven’t received our album yet, but the photos look great and they really captured the day!

I'm pretty sure every tux rental shop has horror stories. Men's Wearhouse does too, and with us. Luckily, I married a "woman" and after we finally decided he would just rent instead of buy, we agreed that he wouldn't leave the shop until he was completely satisfied. They tried to pull the same thing with every guy, give them the wrong sizes, wrong shirts, etc. Carl was having none of it and made sure everything was perfect before he left. He called the district manager and explained what was happening and the guy apologized and said he had problems with that store in the past. He reassured Carl he would talk to that store. Nothing really happened. So- take this advice. Don't settle with any tux rental place. Make sure you are happy! Make sure you have all the right items and that it fits to your liking before you leave! Carl looked smoking. So yes, you can rent your tux and still look hot!

Ok, really, if you don't know by now, Tifany is pretty much a goddess! I seriously will miss collaborating with her, but have already told her to plan on doing lots of birthday invitations and any other paper thing I can think of! I highly recommend contacting her if you are looking for a high quality custom invite! Neither you nor your guests will be disappointed in her products! We wanted more of a mini-moon type vacation as we want to go on a bigger vacation when the weather gets crappy here in Michigan. We chose the RIU in Cancun. We were really happy with everything about the resort. The pools were gorgeous, drinks were constant and the food was unbelievable! The daytime buffets were great but we made sure to get reservations at the upscale restaurants for each night. We tried the Gourmet Steakhouse, the Japanese place, the tapas restaurant and the Brazilian restaurant. The only one I wouldn't go back to was the Brazilian one. Everything else was out of this world! Word to the wise though- do NOT leave your balcony door open. It's more humid than anywhere I've ever been and after only a few minutes of it being open the tile floor in our room was like a slip and slide. Oops. We also slipped the check-in guy a $50 and we were "conveniently" upgraded to a balcony room. DEFINTELY worth it! Lastly, we wanted to do one excursion type thing. We went snorkeling, and while they said we would be gone from 9am-12pm, we actually weren't back until 3pm. We were burnt out only a couple hours into the trip, and while the snorkeling was nice, it was just too long. But my general advice with any excursion there (as this seemed pretty standard), plan on being gone longer than they tell you.

Nini is my normal stylist that works at Biundo's Salon in Monroe. I have been going to her for almost 9 years. It was a no brainer that she would do my hair and she offered to come to the house. I had two trials that I wasn’t 100% happy with, and so on the day of the wedding, I told her to blend the two. She did it and did it perfectly. I couldn’t believe how great my hair looked, and I have a lot of it!!! She did 6 people's hair and everyone looked great! Not to mention her prices are unbelievable!

4.5 stars. Oh Silk Thumb. There were some ups and downs, but in the end they really pulled through. The linens looked fabulous and the flowers looked and smelled great. The questionable part was the trial, but never fear, Kate the DOC was near and made a quick call to be sure we were all on the same page. Everyone was commenting on the flowers and I was really pleased with how they all turned out! All the flowers looked really fresh and nothing wilted for days. The staff there is really unbelievable and make you feel so welcome as soon as you step in the door. They are located in Wyandotte but will travel wherever. I highly recommend them!
