Our only complaint is they give you too many choices which became very confusing! The cake was exactly as we had sketched it and was delicious. On our first anniversary, the cake tasted as good as on our wedding day.

The retail price for the Bill Levkoff dresses we chose was $240. Received a quote from PerfectBridaldresses.com for $161 plus free shipping and no sales tax. RK matched the quote from Perfect Bridal including the free shipping option plus an additional 5% off ($161). They arrived two weeks earlier than promised.

I had my bridesmaid's luncheon at the Hotel Baker. The view was beautiful on the Fox River, but the food was only average at best. I ordered the main course seveal days ahead. Unfortunately, our waitress brought out our food before everyone arrived and we felt very rushed. They brought out an extra entree and attempted to charge me for it when the bill came.

EB has a beautiful banquet room with a seperate bar room & large patio overlooking the golf course.The staff was very accomodating and addressed every concern that we had.Although we were disappointed with the tasting food, the wedding day food was wonderful.The staff helped us unload carloads of supplies which they set up to our very specific guidelines and even arranged the lounge furniture to our liking! Ian arranged our gorgeous candy buffet which people are still talking about. The wedding party was assigned a personal butler who checked with us throughout the evening. At evening's end, the staff packed up our supplies and helped us load everything into our cars.

Vicky came to my home for the first consult. What a time saver! She is very sweet, listened to my ideas and patiently put up with changes in the order. She was quick to respond to emails and telephone calls. The flowers were perfect..although she did sneak a few roses into my bouquet. They arrived as scheduled, were very fresh and lasted well into the next week.

I purchased my dress at Crystal bride. Nancy and Rebecca were wonderful to work with, made me feel like a princess and my dress came in on time. My only complaint was during the day of the wedding, many of the "pickups" on my dress pulled out. Before I had the dress cleaned, I took it back to Crystal Bride for repairs and Nancy said was surprised that a Maggie dress would do that. Instead of possibly trying to get reimbursed by Maggie for faulty workmanship, Nancy charged me for the repairs and said she would suggest to other brides that they reinforce the "pickups" during alterations...too late for me tho :(

It was so enjoyable working with Kristina. She has boundless energy and a great photographic eye. We had a wonderful time in Chicago taking engagement pictures and after a short time, we were relaxed and were more than willing to try some of her crazy ideas...all for the shot! She was calm and unobtrusive on our wedding day. She captured everything and we're very pleased with our finished album. She even put our proofs to music as a gift to us after our videographer didn't show up. Her prices are on the higher end, but well worth it!!

John and Jenny are a great team! John reads the crowd well and knows what to play to keep everyone on the dance floor. He is a pro and not a microphone hog. Jenny coordinates the intros, dances, cake cutting, etc. with charm and class. They presented us with a disc with candids that Jenny took during the reception and left a surprise for us on our gift table at the end of the evening. They were more like guests than vendors.

We contracted with Tom Hartmann who promised to personally video our wedding. Although he accepted a deposit for his services, he NEVER SHOWED UP on the day of the wedding!!!! He didn't call us or return numerous telephone messages we left for him the day before and the day of our wedding. If we had known that he wasn't going to show, we could have made other arrangements for friends to get some footage of the ceremony. We feel this breach is unacceptable, especially for a once- in-a-lifetime wedding vendor. We do offer one star because he returned our deposit....but only after we finally got him to accept one of our telephone calls.
