the experience with jonathan was terrible. we also hired him because he seemed ok and was highly recommended by the knot. we felt he was he was moody on the day of the wedding, forgot to get many standard shots (no pics of our rings, for example) and even let his assistant (paid for) go home early. it took almost 2 years to get our albums after ordering and was shady every time we contacted the office about where our pics were. says they were "being worked on" or they were "almost done" and that the wait is "worth it" because they would be so great. when we finally got the design back, they were crap! no design at all! he left glare and shadows and blurs everywhere and no special effects like you see on his website examples. i could have literally done better editing on my own with some simple program....this coming from a professional using up-to-date software??? i don't think so. the photography itself was decent, but i expect more than that from a professional. i've seen better pictures from amateurs.

i have seen many reviews complaining of these same problems, in particular the time he takes to get things done and giving the run-around to people when they call. some other reviews i read shocked me in their description of how he treated people on the day of their weddings. all i can say is do your research. i am not usually the type of person to take time and write reviews, but we were so hurt by this company that now i am.
