I used MyPublisher for my guest book at my wedding which featured our e-session photos. We also opted to have a message book rather than a list of names and addresses. I also made some books of our wedding photos as gifts for our parents and family. MyPublisher has very good print quality, but they do have a consistency issue. I've printed books with them for about 5 years now and probably have done more than 15 books with them. I posted photos and reviews of my book on my blog.

My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about Charlene. We hired Charlene to be our "day of coordinator" but she played a much bigger role than that, helping us pull together all the details of our big day. When we came to Charlene, we had already selected our venue and our caterers, but Charlene helped us find a florist, makeup artist, limo service, linen company and many other vendors - essentially helping us complete our vision and providing the "glue" to pull it all together. I am a very hands-on person with a very clear picture of what I wanted, and Charlene helped make great suggestions when I was unsure of how to execute something. She was a trusted sounding board to bounce ideas off of and she helped me focus on all the millions of details that go into planning a wedding. On the big day she pulled together the family and friends we drafted to help, and set out to execute our vision. She handled our 24 vendors (yes 24!) and last-minute issues (which always seem to pop up) with composure and professionalism and allowed us to enjoy our day without distraction. While we were on our honeymoon, she even helped take care of some post-wedding details, which she didn't have to do, but that we really appreciated. Our family and friends were very impressed with how smoothly the event ran and a lot of that was due to Charlene's behind the scenes efficiency. If you want to be able to enjoy the day you worked so hard to plan, having a day of coordinator is an absolute must. We could not have had such a successful event without Charlene and we would highly recommend her to any couple!

I had a very positive experience with Volle's. It was quite far being in Lake Zurich and having to drive in from Chicago, but overall I think it was worth it (cheaper tax!). I was a bit scared after hearing horror stories on the Internet about the experiences of other brides, (dresses coming in late, looking worn etc. etc.,) but thankfully none of that happened to me. My dress fit me perfectly. They also offered to steam for free the veil I borrowed from my friend which was a big help. One less thing to worry about is a blessing for a bride. The staff was all very friendly and personable, from the staff that answered the phones, to the salespeople and especially the seamstress. The only issue we had was trying to bustle the dress - I don't know if it was us and being a bit inexperienced??? - but we all thought it could have been marked a little more clearly. I hear some dresses are color coded? Anyway I had 3 or 4 girls under my dress trying to figure why the numbering wasn't working quite right and we all double and triple checked the pairing of the numbers, but I guess I hear that happens to a lot of brides. In all, I would highly recommend Volle's.

My husband and I were married in June 2009. We heard about Albert through a friend. Her cousin used Albert's services for her wedding and he came highly recommended. We met with Albert and were impressed with his easygoing nature and we felt comfortable with him right away which I think is very important. As part of our package, Albert did an engagement session with us and we were very pleased with the way those came out. Albert spent a lot of time with us that day and we didn't feel rushed through our session. We used our engagement photos to create a guest book for our wedding and our guests enjoyed signing and viewing the photos. The day of our wedding, l fell a bit behind in getting ready which unfortunately cut short the time we had for pre-ceremony photos. That didn't keep Albert and his second shooter from taking creative photos around my parents' condo and the venue. We were very glad to have Albert's direction, creative eye and ability to adapt to the situation. He also did a really nice job capturing each of our family members during our Chinese tea ceremony. The only regrets I had regarding our photos were not due to Albert but were related to not being more specific about what shots we would like captured. We spent a lot of time putting together our menu but by the time photos were taken of some of the food stations, the guests had already eaten a lot of it. The items were covered though so it would have not been easy to photograph the food without cooperation from the caterers...Albert did however get several great shots of the sushi station which was a highlight for us. Also, it would have been nice to get more photos of the guests during the cocktail reception and dinner as there are some guests that we didn't get photos of. We had opted not to go to each table to take photos, but that may not be such a bad idea. Regardless, I would recommend to future brides and grooms to try to get photos of all the guests at one point or another during the wedding even if you don't go around to each table specifically.

I also liked that we were able to access our photos from Albert's website and that we received all our photos on disc. I'm glad to have gotten married in the digital era! In all I think Albert did a wonderful job and he provided excellent value for cost. He was always very responsive to every email that I sent him and very prompt to respond. I would have no reservations in highly recommending him.
