I had been a fan of Nataly's ever since "Miss Mandy" posted about her in January 2008. Her engagement pictures looked amazing and when I found out that she was within our price range, I kept her on my radar and became a blog-stalker of hers. After a few months, my FI gave me the task of compiling a list of photographers to look into so I complied. I didn't even tell him that Nataly was my favorite (so that I didn't sway his decision) and just let him browse the sites on his own so he could compare the photographers himself. He told me who his top photographer choice was and it was Nataly! I then shared that she was my favorite too and we kept comparing everyone else to her. We just loved how fresh, crisp, romantic and colorful her pictures were and could envision our wedding photos being the same.
I began corresponding through e-mail with Nataly just letting her know that we didn't have a wedding date set but that we were huge fans of her work. She was so sweet over e-mail and gave us a list of her prices and packages so we could go over that. As soon as we chose our date, I immediately e-mailed her so that we could meet with her. It was a little tough scheduling our meeting because of all of our other commitments, but since we still had well over a year before our wedding date, I didn't let that phase me because we seriously wanted to work with her. When we were finally able to meet with her and Art (her husband/second shooter) she showed us an entire wedding she had done from beginning to end so that we could make sure that we understood how she shot a wedding. She also showed us a wedding album and answered all of our questions. Throughout the meeting we went on tangents and it actually felt like we were just chatting with long lost friends. Once we realized she was also a Disney fan, we knew she had to be ours! We had such a great time getting to know them and didn't realize that a few hours had passed and that they were going to be late for a shoot! When we got home we knew we had to book them so we came up with a creative way to ask them to be a part of our day. Nataly loved that we "proposed" to them and we enjoyed giving her a laugh.
We ended up meeting up with them a few months later to sign our contracts and give them our deposit. They were just as lovely as they were the first time we met them. Months later we took our engagement pictures on the hottest most humid day in Anaheim and they were just as wonderful as ever. They didn't let the bad weather, sweat and weariness stop them from following us all over to take great pictures and it paid off. We loved our e-pics!
On the wedding day, they were both ready bright and early for our morning shoot and didn't seem too phased by the incredibly early start time. They kept great track of time and made sure to keep us “clean” by constantly checking where we were going to pose to make sure it wasn't dirty. Art lent us his camera pad a few times so that we could sit on it and was so great about carrying my day bag with him. He was also wonderful about helping us weave our family members in and out of pictures for the formal portraits and they were both so efficient that we got through a lot of those formalities way ahead of schedule.
We met up with them four months after our wedding to receive our completed professional wedding pictures CD. Our CD was beautifully packaged in a gift box with ribbon that matched her website colors. (Nice touch Nataly!) When we opened it, we found our finished CD complete with one of our pretty wedding pictures on the face of it and a kind handwritten note from Nataly thanking us for choosing her and for allowing her to witness our beautiful day. She has such a sweet heart and it’s so nice to have found someone as nice as her to chronicle our very intimate wedding day.
The finished wedding pictures were just as crisp and colorful as the ones we fell in love with when we decided to book her and captured all of the various emotional moments we had that day. They capture the spirit of wonder and whimsy that we had going on and it totally solidified our decision to have Nataly and Art shoot our wedding day. They are so great to be around.
We are so happy that we were able to find her and that she was able to add her artistic touch to our most photographed day.

We scheduled a meeting with John at Disneyland eight months before our wedding. I had seen a few reviews of his on PW and I had gotten a flyer of his at a bridal shop (he apparently provided services for the bridal shop owner's daughters' wedding) so he seemed like a great potential DJ. He was super nice and very professional.
We asked him a lot of questions and he was very laid back and not once did he try to sell us on his company. He actually saved us money by suggesting that we didn't book him for the ceremony. He said it wasn't worth it for us to pay him to cue music when he could be best used setting up the reception. He also helped me convince my FI on uplighting by assuring us that they don't have to be all super dark like at night-clubs and that with the use of the dimmers in the room, we could allow for it to be mood lighting rather than all dark so everyone could still get around without being visually impaired. He even stayed past our meeting time so we could look at our reception room. He would've come back to look at it another day, but it just made more sense for him to do it then. Our room was closed so I was able to get a very nice CM to get a Security person to open the reception room for us. It only took a few minutes but it gave John a good idea of what we'd need and how much lighting he could bring in to give us the look I was looking for. John was really friendly, had done a few events at Disney already, was local to Disney so we knew he wouldn't be late or get lost, and gave us the impression that he would really work to make the day about us and he had an unbeatable price so we booked him right away.
He was so professional and accommodating at our wedding. The minute we took a glimpse of our reception room prior to allowing guests to go in, both my husband and I gasped. The lighting was beyond what we imagined and truly completed the look. We were concerned about it because we had e-mailed John asking questions about what colors would look best but he missed the first few e-mails and later replied that he’d take care of it all. We wanted to just let him do his thing because we knew he had experience but we still felt a bit uneasy about not having a concrete answer. Our worries were definitely misplaced because the room looked gorgeous (and we didn’t even go “all out” with the lighting!) My husband raved about the lighting and I had to remind him that John and I had to both convince him to go with them at our initial meeting. He was so glad he listened to us.
John’s site was super simple to navigate. It made the planning process so much easier because we just had to peruse his extensive musical database and drop in our “must play’s”, “play if you can” and “do not play” selections and add some songs that he didn’t already have with great ease. He was so flexible about retrieving a great number of songs that he didn’t already have that we wanted to hear at specific times throughout our event and we were so pleased with how he was able to distribute the musical selections throughout the night. We had a great number of musical requests from guests that we had asked for on their RSVP cards so by the time we plugged in their requests and our own, we had over 4 hours of music allotted for a 2 hour event. We gave John free reign to play what he could throughout our event and he did a great job. A group of our guests inquired about him and told us what a great job he did.
He was also really great about juggling the various timelines that we had given him. We were doing so good on time that we were able to move some formalities up so that we could have more time to party. He was also really understanding about our family situation and was ready to proceed with formalities or skip over them if we couldn’t get to them depending on time or feelings. I think the only thing that I’d change is that I’d have him explain things more. I think since we were able to move up the timeline so often, some things were a bit confusing so I would’ve liked to have John pre-announce the money dance and explain how it worked (at least five minutes prior to it beginning) so that my husband and I didn’t have to stand there for so long waiting for guests to make change or figure out why we were dancing alone. It was our fault anyway, but I think that it was worth mentioning so that future clients can make sure to have him pre-announce and explain things if they can foresee it becoming an issue.
We also really appreciated that he kept the dance floor lively and respected our musical selections by declining requests that guests were trying to make at the reception. He checked with us to make sure it was okay, which is great because with so many songs that we had already pre-approved; it would’ve been unfair to honor outside requests. He was also wonderful about getting everyone on the dance floor for our final dance which ended up being one of our favorite moments of the night and has been mentioned by a few of our guests as also being a highlight for them.
If you’re looking for an affordable, professional, friendly, attentive and accommodating DJ in Southern California, call John – you won’t regret it. :)

There’s a reason why Joe Rosenberger and Today’s the Day Wedding Video have a five star rating. The work and customer service is THAT good!
We received his contact information from another bride with the same venue and after meeting with him, we knew that the search for a videographer started and ended with him. From our initial pricing inquiry to the wedding day and every communication in
between, Joe was a pleasure to talk to and be around. He never tried to sell us on his company with pushy sales techniques, but rather he let his work speak for itself. We liked the films on his demo DVD and the clips he showed us at our initial meeting. We could tell that he catered to each couple’s personality to create a wedding film that was unique to the people in them. No cookie-cutter or flash for the sake of flash gimmicks here! He does his best to get to know the couples, uses the music they provide and other cues that he gets on the day of the wedding to create individual masterpieces! He’s really approachable and friendly so he makes it easy for you to make suggestions or requests without feeling like you’re stepping on his “artistic” toes.
We really appreciated how he was able to work with us to create a videography package that fit our small budget and that offered us everything we needed to remember our wedding day. He was super easy to work with and was a complete professional so we never had to feel like we had to keep tabs on him to remind him who we were and when our wedding was.
He was completely “invisible” at our wedding and captured a lot of candid moments that left us wondering, “When did he get that?” when viewing the raw footage. He doesn’t stage shots and captures the moments as they happen. He also got along really well with our other vendors and made sure that he didn’t encroach on anyone else’s workspace and was so unobtrusive that it made our guests feel comfortable enough to be themselves around him and his camera. Joe even showed up earlier than scheduled to set up and was really great about juggling all of our timeline changes during the reception.
Our finished film was wonderful. Joe was able to stay true to the spirit of our day and wove together a beautiful movie that truly captured “us”. It’s amazing how with a few brief encounters and e-mails, he was able to “get us”. We loved how he was able to catch all the sentimentality, romance, fun and magic of our day and we’ll never forget how he went “the extra mile” for us by including a touching surprise on our finished DVD. His attention to detail doesn’t just stop at the finished film. The finished DVD’s came neatly packaged in professional casings and were packed carefully to ensure that they arrived safe and sound.
He is as kind and thoughtful as he is talented and we highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a quality videographer to capture the important moments in life.

We bought my husband’s suit at 3 Day Suit Broker. We had read about their $99 suits and were hoping to find something affordable for him to wear for our wedding. Saul helped him find a suit that was appropriate for our occasion. He measured my FI and then pointed us to where we could find suits in his size and pulled out a few jackets to sample. He let us take our time figuring out what would be the right suit for him while he attended to other customers. It was a great breath of fresh air to be helped but not to feel pressured to buy something or made to feel inadequate because we didn’t want to spend very much on a suit. My FI liked the suit that Saul helped him choose so we bought it and were able to use a coupon we had to get a free tie and Saul even threw in the garment bag for free. Alterations were really affordable and accurate. We picked up my FI’s suit a week later (though we were phoned sooner than that to let us know it was ready for pick-up) and it was perfect.
After the stellar treatment, we returned a few months later to buy my dad’s suit for the wedding. This time, Joe helped us out and he was amazing. He took one LOOK at my dad and told him what size he was. We couldn’t believe how accurate he was. He was also very understanding about our budget and didn’t persuade us to spend more money on finer suits. He explained the differences between the styles and labels but let us make the final decision. Alterations were a breeze and affordable and we were very happy that we found 3 Day Suit Broker to outfit my two favorite men for the wedding. We gladly recommend them.

My relationship with Wilshire Bridal began a while back. I e-mailed the store, but never got a response. Since it was listed as an authorized retailer for many of the dress designers that I was looking at, I decided to go in anyway one day during the middle of the week. The store was empty and despite the fact that I was a “walk-in”, I was helped out. The store was well organized and nicer than I thought it would be based on the outside. They had an entire wall of Maggie Sottero gowns all enclosed in plastic garment bags and an entire wall of Pronovias (with a few Enzoani/Anjolique's in the mix). I used to go past the shop on the way to school and always admired the gorgeous gowns in the window, so it was really refreshing to see that they had so many stunning gowns on display. I told the first salesperson what I was looking for and she left to go find Kim. I then repeated to Kim what I was looking for and she honestly told me that they didn't have exactly what I was describing but that they could order anything for me and that I was free to look around the store. I did and she was kind enough to pull a dress off of a mannequin in the window so I could try it on. At one point another bride with a scheduled fitting came in and took Kim away from me. She kept apologizing to me and reassured me she'd only be a few more minutes. I thought that was nice because anyone else would’ve prioritized the appointment and let me the “walk in” just wander, but she wanted to show me that she appreciated my potential business.
After a short wait, she led me to a dressing room. It was spacious (but in need of a quick sweep) and she helped me in and out of dresses. The first few were obvious "no's" and she knew it too. She was very blunt in telling me what looked good and what didn't for my small frame. Not once did I feel like she was pressuring me to buy something and it felt like she was genuinely interested in helping me find a good idea of what I wanted in a wedding gown.
I didn't end up liking any of the ones I tried at that visit, but she shook my hand anyway and gave me her card and told me that when I was ready she could order anything for me and get me a great deal. I thought that was cool. After going to several more bridal shops, I decided to look at Wilshire Bridal again. I had set my sights on a Pronovias dress and was hoping that they’d have the sample. They didn’t, BUT had an even prettier Pronovias on the mannequin. Kim was kind enough to undress the mannequin and let me try on the dress. I didn’t weep or get emotional, but felt that the dress seemed appropriate for me. Even Kim thought it was the one for me, so although I didn’t get it right then (I had to go home and think about it) I returned to buy it a few days later. Kim gave me a very generous discount on it and quoted me a reasonable amount for alterations so I felt comfortable giving them my business. The dress came in quicker than anticipated and every time I went to the store, my family and I were greeted and welcomed and it just reassured us that we picked the right bridal shop. I had a lot going on in my personal life in the months leading up to the wedding so my weight fluctuated and I had to have a lot of alterations, but Kim never made it seem like I was a bother or that she couldn’t handle my changing body shape. She was so kind and sweet and I’m so grateful that she took care of me and my dress all that time.
When it came time to pick up my dress, it was ready on time and in perfect shape. She charged me less than what she had quoted me months prior for alterations, which was a very nice gesture despite of how often we had to let it out and let it in. She made a wonderful bustle for my gown and taught my sister and dad how to bustle it and gave me a cute garment bag in my wedding color for it. I’m so glad to have met Kim and I would definitely recommend Wilshire Bridal if you want a unique wedding dress.
Side note: They do have a small parking lot adjacent to their shop, but it’s a little tight. Also, Saturday’s seem to be really busy so try to visit on another day. I have read other reviews for them talking about a “language barrier”. I didn’t think it was a big deal or even noticeable so don’t let that keep you from visiting this charming shop. I’ve also read reviews where brides complain about the dresses being in plastic bags. I didn’t think that was a big deal. They sell the samples sometimes so it makes sense for them to keep the dresses as clean as possible by keeping them in bags. I found it very easy to sift through the dresses despite them being in bags and since I had already perused the websites of the designers that Wilshire Bridal carried, I familiarized myself with the dresses so I was able to recognize them from memory and didn’t have to have the dresses out in the open for me to really “see” them. They actually have the designer dress books on the coffee table so you can glance that before you start sifting through the racks. So don’t let slightly negative comments like that deter you from visiting the shop. :)

Ted was a great person to work with. We had his contact information from other Disneyland couples, but didn’t think we’d employ his services because we weren’t sure if we could afford a live musician. After getting his very reasonable quote, we were convinced that adding a harpist to our event was possible. He was delightful to work with. From even prior to booking, he was very quick to answer our inquiries. After sending our deposit, he was very attentive to our e-mails and was really flexible about what songs we wanted to hear played. We wanted music that was completely untraditional and not on his website and he was able to let us know what he had in his repertoire and made them available for us to use. He was even fantastic about learning a new piece for me to surprise my FI with for my walk down the aisle. All I had to do was send him the music and he learned the piece at no extra charge. He was AMAZING !! We were so impressed with how early he arrived and how quickly he set up at our wedding.
My husband thought the musical selections he played sounded tremendous!! We later learned that he had a slight technical difficulty during a particular processional piece but nobody even noticed. We're so glad that we decided to add a Harp to our event and that he was able to accommodate our untraditional requests.
Ted’s rendition of the main theme from Disney/Pixar’s UP (the song I had him learn for my walk down the aisle) was beyond what I imagined. That song warms my heart so much and when I heard the beginning part, I just about lost it. When my fire engine pulled up and I heard it, I tried so hard to choke back my tears. It was seriously beautiful and I can't wait for the video so I can hear it again. He did SO well and I thank him so profusely for taking the time to learn the song and fill my heart with joy. My husband ended up recognizing the tune and he said that that started him crying because he knew how special it was and we're just so thrilled with everything Ted did for us.
We HIGHLY recommend Ted to anyone wanting to hear harp music at their event. Ted is a gifted musician and definitely a worthwhile addition to any event.

We had heard about Rev. Carolyn from past Disneyland couples and noted that she was on Disneyland’s preferred vendor list. We took a look at her website and felt that she could be the right person to marry us based on how she seemed to focus her attention on what she could do for the couple and not just on trying to sell her services. She was so sweet over e-mail and on the phone, that it was quite refreshing to know that she was exactly like that in person.
We met with her in person and she made us feel at ease and chatted us up for nearly 2 hours. She had just finished officiating a ceremony before our meeting and it was really cool how everyone in the DFTW dept. knew her and gave her the thumbs up. Even the Bride, Groom, Father of the Bride, MOH and Best Man from that wedding stopped by at different times during our meeting to give us the thumbs up on her and to put in a good word. Rev. Carolyn introduced us to more of the staff and told them we were getting married there next year. Not once did it feel like a sales pitch and it seriously felt like we had known her our whole lives. She went over the license stuff and showed us her ceremonies. We went over them and noted that she had several to choose from and was willing to let us incorporate our own wording and customs. Rev. Carolyn was really delightful and had a great sense of humor so we knew we'd get a great ceremony out of her. We hit it off and felt comfortable with her. Once we learned that Disney is one of her favorite places to officiate and that she loves Disney, we pretty much knew she was the one for us. We felt her fee was very reasonable so we booked her right away and sent her our deposit. She was so organized and sent us e-mailed invoices to let us know what our balance was and to check up on us throughout the wedding planning. A few weeks before the wedding she even sent us a checklist to make sure we had everything we needed for the wedding and helped us look over the ceremony we wrote to make sure it sounded right and would be the appropriate length for the time allotted.
On the wedding day, she showed up early to meet with us and go through all the paperwork to make the ceremony legal. She took care of all the formalities and even collected the marriage license from us which she filed on our behalf a few days after the wedding. We thought that she did a beautiful job at the ceremony and that she managed to weave through all the untraditional ceremony cues that we threw at her with ease and grace. We were on heightened emotions due to the loss of a loved one days before our wedding and it was really comforting to have her there smiling at us and soothing us with her naturally calm and friendly demeanor. It really helped us to focus on what was happening and set aside the grief we felt in our hearts. The memorial speech that she delivered for our loved one was beautiful. It was as if she had known that person as long as we had and I'm sure our loved one enjoyed getting a little "shout out" at the ceremony.
We are very thankful for her helping us enjoy the morning. With all of the emotions around the day, I was afraid that I would start to sob again, but her calm and soothing nature really helped us to enjoy the beauty of our ceremony without getting upset.
We are also very grateful for her helping us all throughout the planning process. We HIGHLY recommend her to anyone getting married in Southern California.

I met with Carina at my makeup trial a few months before the wedding after having a lackluster trial with another company. Carina was really nice and was able to give me a look that I was expecting without me having to explain too much. At first that made me nervous because I didn’t think she had really studied the pictures I brought in. After what happened with the other company, I ended up finding more pictures and printed several collages and pictures of myself with self-applied regular day makeup and special occasion makeup so I wouldn’t end up with further costly misunderstandings. Carina quickly leafed through the pictures of myself, ONE page (out of 6) of my inspiration pictures, asked about my wedding colors (purple and fuchsia) and got to work. I felt like I had just got there, when she had already finished one eye. Once I saw it, I knew that I had nothing to worry about and that she “got me”. She worked fast and made me look amazing. I was so happy that I found someone that “got it”. I also met with Michelle during the trial so we could go over my hairstyle. Without much direction, she was able to give me a great and youthful style that felt very “me” but still had some “wedding day elegance” to it. I booked them on the spot.
Unfortunately, a few months closer to the wedding, I found out that Carina wasn’t going to be able to provide makeup services for me after all (Her other commitment for the day added services making it impossible for her to be at two places at once). I was really disappointed because I truly loved what she did for me at the trial, but Carina offered me a free trial with Cara so that she could try to re-create the look that Carina provided for me at my first trial. Cara was really sweet and took her time and was really good about looking at notes and pictures from the first trial. She was able to give me the glamorous eyes that I like and was really pleasant to be around. A little after the trial, I noticed that my eye makeup didn't stay on as long as at my first trial and the color started to fade faster. I e-mailed them about that and they said they would work on that for the wedding day.
They were really great about taking direction, which I appreciated because you really want to have an honest and open relationship with the people that are working with you and the Flawless staff definitely did not want me to feel anything less than flawless when I left their makeup chairs.
On the wedding day, Cara and Michelle were set up bright and early in the morning and ready to get to work. I was so tired, but they seemed to be in good spirits and ready to get started. Michelle turned my tangled bed hair into a sleek bridal hairdo in less than an hour. She was so patient and so tender with my tresses that it was lulling me back to sleep LOL Cara took her time on my makeup and it looked fantastic! I think it even looked better than at my first trial and I was so grateful that she took the notes from our trial together and worked on all the details so that I could leave the makeup chair 100% satisfied. She was so great about going over areas that I felt needed more coverage and kept going over things so that she could make sure that she did everything she could to make me look flawless.
Both Cara and Michelle made my bridal party look amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them look better. I was especially impressed with my sister’s hair and makeup. They totally transformed her from a normal pretty girl into a glamorous and gorgeous young lady and our entire family couldn’t stop commenting on her. I was so proud of how she looked and I thank Cara and Michelle for taking the extra time to help us look our very best.
I do have to make note that the makeup on 2 of the bridesmaids didn’t last as long as they hoped, so I suggest that future brides warn their bridesmaids to bring their own touch up kit or their own trusted brand of foundation to ward off any potential makeup meltdowns.
Everyone looked terrific though so I would definitely recommend Flawless Faces and can’t wait for another event in their neck of the woods so I can call on them for more hair and makeup services.
