This place was excellent! We wanted something very close to the Cathedral. We ate at a few places nearby and we felt we got the most bang for our buck at Adega. The food was amazing! They were so attentive! Excellent sangria (big bonus!). We had a private room in the back & it was just beautiful. They also had their piano player there which was such a nice touch. The food was served family style which was a big hit because everyone just CHOWED down! They also had private parking across the street. We also arrived early so that we can drop off the BP gifts. No problems what so ever!. Also, MH forgot his VISA there & they called me right away. He went back to pick it up and he told me the lounge attached to the restaurant had a long line of people waiting to go in. As part of our package we were give VIP access to the lounge. We didn’t take advantage of it because we wanted to get some sleep for the next day. Highly recommend Adega.

It was so beautiful! Sarie was sweet to work with and even rushed my order. I ordered it so close to my wedding date. I know many people just use their initial but we wanted to follow through with our theme and she used our monogram. It was beautiful. People never saw that before. My friends were like, “Where do you get these ideas from?” it was very different! A bit pricy but so pretty!! It’s a great keepsake from the wedding.

Melanie Degraw was my contact. Primavera does not have this hotel on their vendor list but I still decided to check them out & I’m so glad we did. The hotel is so beautiful. MH got ready there & they took great pictures in the suite and throughout the hotel. It was beautiful! Melanie was excellent. Super responsive. Even on her day off she would answer my email. We paid for breakfast the next day for our guest & the food was great. They set up a private room for us. They did such a nice job! The room was clean & the set up was great. Also, MH realized that he left his shirt there & my MOH’s boyfriend left his shoes. They called and immediately shipped it to them at no cost. Great staff & just a beautiful hotel. Also, they were CHEEP!!!! So much less then the other hotels in the area. Highly recommend them & Melanie was fantastic!

MH was having a hard time choosing his tux. The store has a great selection & were so patience with him. He went back like 4x to look for his tux & they were great everytime. We had NO issues with the tuxes. Great service & on time delivery.

Tina & Nanda 10/10 - My dress, shoes, hair comb, veils & BM dresses. These ladies were GREAT!!!! I found my dress at another store and I called them & they were able to order my dress for so much less then the other store quoted me! My dress was custom made & the alterations were PERFECT! My mom is a seamstress so she watched them take the measurements & said they knew exactly what they were doing. Also, my girls dresses were BEAUTIFUL!!! I could not stop staring at them! The dresses was not your typical BM dresses. They were beautiful. I went w/ a dark color for August. I just fell in love with Levkoff Euro Wine. A few people commented before the wedding that it was very dark for a summer wedding but I went with my gut & so glad I did. I LOVED their dresses! & the girls loved the style & color. We went w/Levkoff #951. My girls had all different shapes & sizes & this dress flattered each of them perfectly! The alterations were perfect too! Also – I gotta say, I LOVED my shoes. They were HOT! I did not take them off once! HIGHLY Recommend this store. It’s a tiny store but if they have what you need you will not be disappointed!

Katee 10/10 – I’ve been going to Katee for about 10 years. She owns the salon. Overall my hair was ok. This was of no doing of Katee. The problem was the weather. My mom had to touch up my hair before we left w/curlers. Katee listened to what I wanted & she did do a great job. The only problem is that I felt like I had so much hairspray & that my hair was stiff. Other then that, she was great! She also helped me prior to the wedding with deep conditioners, color & cuts. It was a whole process for her. Not just the day itself.

what can I say~ Evelyn is my girl! She just rocks! Ok – so truth be told, I’m a make up junkie. You have no clue. I went to 9+ trials before finding Evelyn. I am super picky about my MU. Evelyn works at Garden State Plaza at the MAC counter. She is crazy talented! She can do any look you want. She did the MU for me, my mom, MIL, SIL, MOH, BM. & they ALL looked amazing! I couldn’t stop looking at them! The MU stayed on all night long. Evelyn listened to what I wanted & just ran with it. I’ve used her for other events since I met her and each time she nails the look I want. This girl has amazing talent! Also, when you meet Evelyn you will just love her personality. She is sooooo sweet & so much fun to have around! Evelyn has gone beyond just being my MU artist. I consider her a great great friend. We’ve gotten very close. I have nothing but great things to say about her as a person & her talent to make you achieve any look you want. Its been so nice to see her get a few referrals from the boards. Thanks to Monitosgirl for this recommendation. The dancers were a HIT! I wanted to incorporate a dance that blended both FIL culture (Guyanese/Indian) & my family’s culture (Hispanic). Alex suggested who she used & Jorge was excellent. For starters, he invited us to see his dancers perform in NYC. He did not charge us a cover & we had apps & sangria at no cost! GREAT business man. We discussed what I wanted & price & MH & I were hooked! They performed the entire cocktail hr which got the guest all warmed up for the party & 20 min during dinner. This was one of my highlights. When MH & I joined our guest for cocktail hr the minute we heard that music we started to dance in front of them. We have some great shots of that. Also, my mom (who is a nut) also danced with one of the dancers after MH & I did! The music was excellent! The women wore beautiful dresses! We had 2 guitarist & 2 dancers. They sang & dance. THEN – during dinner, the main singer/dancer dedicated a song to us. She pulled us out on the dancefloor. MH & I were like “OH CRAP! I guess we dance” We had no clue what we were doing but we had a blast! & We walked out of the ballroom dancing with them! It was GREAT! The crowd LOVED it! I was watching the guest face & they just ate it up! They were so into it. What was nice is that people said they only see Flamenco dancers on TV & how beautiful it is live! Thank you Alex for the referral. You hooked it up for me!

For about 1 yr prior to our wedding I knew I wanted a cigar roller. I wanted a very Latin theme & it would just “fit”. Well, MH hated the idea. For months I begged & begged & finally he agreed to it! We were referred to Tony by Primavera. He is their house roller. He was a HIT!!! We called around & nobody compared to Tony. Ok..here’s the deal. Tony owns a cigar store in Nutley. We met w/him & clicked in like 5 min. You can see the passion this man has. He told us, “its an honor for me to be a part of your day”. He just dosen’t roll cigars. He tells people the story about cigars & how they are made etc. He is straight from Cuba. He used to work for the gov’t but decided to follow his passion for Cigars & opened up his store & began to do weddings! He’s in this business for the long haul. Tina LaMorte came up to me & said, “My God – where did you find this cigar roller – He’s AMAZING!” My boss & co-workers are big cigar smokers as well as my mom’s friends. They were like – this was such a great idea! What a great classy touch! The best thing about Tony is that he rolled for THREE HOURS! Oh & what a great guy listen to this..we had him by the inside bar at Primavera so that he could see the party & people didn’t need to leave the room to see him. He had a blast at our party! The man rolled an extra 100 cigars because he didn’t want to leave! He said he felt like he was a guest more then a vendor. He is just great!!! Another thing w/Tony. He has a very beautiful tradition where we hand him the cigar leaf & he rolls it for us & it’s meant to bless us for 100 yrs of marriage. He also gave MH a special cigar to smoke w/the dads & GM. Also, we got 5 unique cigars that we smoke every 5 yrs of marriage! Lastly, in addition to your typical cigars, Churchill/Corona etc..he has ladies cigars w/vanilla, cherry, wine & some other type of high grade Cigars. He was such a FIND!! I gotta give thanks to Primavera for the referral. I would recommend him with my eyes closed shut! AMAZING guy just all around & vendor!!

This was a referral from Tina LaMorte. This was my 3rd florist but they say the 3rd times a charm & it sure was!! We 1st hired Floral Designs by Cindy but I realized that I was not able to get the most bang for my buck. I know her work is amazing & her quality is great! She & I had a great relationship but in the end, we had to look out for our budget. I would recommend Cindy if you have budget because you will not be disappointed. So…since money was an issue we booked AW Florist. Adam was great to work with overall. I had no problems with him until a few months before our wedding. We saw his work and we were not pleased. I was going to stay w/him because he had most of our money but MH said no way. He told me that we needed to cancel our contract b/c he did not want to see me stressed out on our wedding day. So, with the help of Tina La Morte and MH they both called Adam he gave us our money back. Adam was very professional. I would NOT recommend him. NOW – On to Debbie’s Design. Tina knew I was worried because here I was 8 weeks before our wedding and NO florist!! She gave me a few people to call and Debbie was on her list. Budget wise, yeah, we had to increase our budget a bit. I ended up working with Pam who is a DOLL!!! I had no pictures to show her but I explained what I wanted. ALSO, what I loved about this vendor is that they leave no surprises. They ask that you go to see a sample centerpiece and bouquets the day before the wedding. When I walked into her store the day before our wedding I CRIED!! The flowers were amazing. Ladies – I was like –WHAT!! These are MY flowers! NO F’ing WAY!!! MY FLOWERS!!! I cried like a damn baby! Pam just out did herself. She took my idea & vision & just made a beautiful work of art. The women was so patience. She gave me her cell # to call her w/any questions while she was on vacation. Well, I didn’t bother her on vacation but I did call her to talk about some new ideas I had & she was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about them. Also, Primavera asked them for their business card b/c they said they have never seen their ballroom look amazing! This was another vendor that my mom was blown away. She told me during cocktail hr. “I don’t know what you paid for these flowers but whatever it was, it was worth it. You should hear what people are saying when they walk into that room.” The flowers lasted almost 1.5 wks. Actually, my bouquet & a few calla’s lasted even 2 wks after I came back from my HM! These are true artist! They are not the most expensive nor the cheapest but I felt w/them I got the most bang for my buck! OH –I have to also mention, even the MEN noticed my centerpieces! MEN!! That spoke volumes to me. I had my friends husband & boyfriends coming up & telling me they never seen flowers like these before. I know people say not to spend money on flowers but keeping it real, they totally create the ambiance in the room! I just loved them! I can go on & on..they are amazing!!!
