My dad had the idea of renting a mini van plus a town car for the wedding day instead of a limousine. It was a great idea, because we were able to have all the cars for the full weekend for the price it would have cost to rent a limousine for three hours. It was easy to rent the cars, they arrived clean and new, and we had no problems returning the cars, either. The only thing to remember is that you need to get a designated driver for the evening.

I will give this site 5 stars because we were able to order 100 postcards for the price of shipping and handling. It was great, because I don’t believe we could have made the cards ourselves for $8. The cards are excellent quality, and there is no pressure to order more cards. They send lots of emails reminding us of their promotions, but no more pressure to buy.

The tuxedo that my husband rented was nice. He looked the part of the groom on the wedding day, and I think that’s the most important part! He already had a shirt, so he only needed to rent the jacket and the pants. It was actually the least expensive purchase for our wedding.

My husband chose this store because I had mentioned that I loved the ring of a colleague who had bought a Valerie Naifeh ring. The store is great; they have her rings, and then hundreds of pieces of jewelry from other brands and collections. It was an experience shopping at the store! We went to the store together and I fell in love with one of the rings from the Stardust Diamond collection. I would have loved a Naifeh ring, but it was a bit out of our price range. I hinted to my husband that maybe for our ten year anniversary I could get another ring…

We chose Floral and hardy because they offered us the best selection of flowers and the greatest variety of how the bouquets could look for me, the bride, and the bridesmaids and the flower girls. They get top marks for creativity. My best friend and I went to the consultation together and in an hour we had everything decided and determined, so I love them for how professional and efficient they are. More good marks for being great on time. Nice, and efficient, and all the flowers were ready for the wedding day on time and delivered without problems.

This was a really fun part of wedding planning. We took the advice from other brides that I had met and made an appointment. They really won’t see you without an appointment because they are so busy, and letting them know in advance when your wedding is and the number of guests gives the team enough time to come up with good ideas. They make traditional cakes but they did make us a baby blue wedding cake! I loved it! It looked and tasted pretty!

They have the greatest selection of flower girl dresses, ranging from 18 months to four years old. The flower girls looked adorable, and I was so happy that I went with this decision. My bridesmaids bought dresses from the junior section, and it was amazing that they were still able to fit in the dresses. The selection was good, but it was the price of these formal dresses that were highly discounted that made us buy the dresses. The three bridesmaids dresses cost less than the three flower girl dresses.

This took a bit of planning, but my mother arranged a bridal shower picnic at Goodholm Park. The park is really pretty, and there is a picnic shelter there. You don’t need to rent the tables, they are open to the public. My mother also bought deli trays and buns from the Crest Grocery store, though I don’t know if she bought it from the Crest near her house or the one closer to the park. Crest is good for gernous meat and cheese deli trays, fresh fruit and veggies and dip, and nice buns. We had great sheet cake for dessert. I think it was nice to be outside for this kind of event.

This was okay. I had an additional “girl’s night out” with my girlfriends and we went to a spa that we had never been to before. My bridesmaids and I were supposed to have an hour message and then manicures and pedicures, but I guess they slightly overbooked. Some of us had to wait a bit between sessions, and then we had to wait at the end for everyone to be done. I wouldn’t say that the massage lasted 1 hour, more like 50 minutes. It would have been better if we all could have finished at the same time.
