Dear Bride2b,
I got married last year in June, and the comments by Barb10 are extremely accurate. The Palace charged me $210 per person and told me that I must guarantee 250 people in order for them to hold the date. I agreed only because I loved the place, and we were wanted to have our ceremony outside on the terrace.

But trust me Bride2B, after they get your money they quickly forget about you, and move on to the next bride.

For the money we paid we were very dissapointed. I was promised that my wedding would be staffed 1 server per 10 guests and it wasn't. The food was not so great, the sales person was rude who never returns my phone calls. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture.

Go somewhere else and you will get better quality for what you are going to spend!

GLORIOUS BRIDE: I would assume that the comments about not counting servers and enjoying the wedding is directed at me. So I must respond.

Obviously the thought of counting the amount of staff never entered my mind. However it became obvious that there was a problem when only 2 staff members were passing my signature drink, and 1 person passing food. When I booked at The Palace this was not the image that I had for my wedding! Why? Because of the sales person who repeated time and again that the palace is different then any other banquet halls because of the level of attention that my guests will be receiving!

So I did not intend on counting, but when service suffers it's kind of hard to ignore. When you have the banquet manager passing drinks and food to my family, that's a problem. All I am saying is please don't lie to brides just to get their money. If it wasn't for the Banquet Manager then the whole night would of been a disaster. His sense of humor and personality saved the night.

But please don't talk of counting servers like I had an agenda even before the night. It sounds like Inglorious Bride works for the Palace?
