I had always been of the mindset that I did not need a wedding planner or even a day-of wedding coordinator. I am extremely picky, critical, and organized about every single detail so I was very reluctant to have someone else step in. Alright, I'm anal and I have trust issues! =) Good thing my husband is the sensible one.

Karen exceeded our expectations and more! She is incredibly organized, has impeccable attention to detail and unbelievable planning skills--exactly what you should look for in a wedding coordinator! Karen spent time with us on multiple occasions prior to the day-of to ensure she understood exactly what we wanted on our LONG wedding day. She had experience and advice along the way for every element—traditional tea ceremony, Filipino Catholic church ceremony, day-of photo sessions, cocktail hour and reception! She prepared to-do lists, checklists, contact sheets, schedules and more to confirm that none of the details would be missed. She also worked with our other vendors and coordinated before, during, and even after the wedding to wrap up one lingering issue that we were unable to attend to prior to leaving for our honeymoon. Karen is definitely willing to go above and beyond to ensure the job gets done--and done right. I heard consistent feedback from EVERY vendor that Karen was an absolute PLEASURE to work with! My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams--it was exactly what we envisioned it would be. When faced with the unavoidable day-of hiccups, Karen stepped in to handle the situation and was one step ahead of us the entire time. I honestly did not know how I could just relax on my wedding day and Karen made that possible. If you are like me, you will not be disappointed with Events by Karen Lee!
