These guys were great. They have every detail on their website, and were helpful in answering questions. They even emailed several times when I got confused about the online ordering form. The hoodie looks great, it’s comfortable and I’m happy. I also ordered one for a friend later on and had the same, great experience with them.

I ordered these dresses online, using the sizing chart. Online, the photo of the dresses shows the ivory as pretty close to white, which is what I wanted. They also warn to order multiple dresses together to make sure they're from the same dye lot. I followed all their directions. When they arrived, the color is more butter, or cream, not really ivory. Also, for one of the dresses, the tulle skirt that is on top is uneven. Very uneven. My sister is going to even it out herself with a pair of scissors. Also, the website said the dress included a headpiece. I never received a headpiece, but I didn't want it anyway, so no great loss.

I wanted cute, simple dresses for a low price. I spent $90 on two dresses, including shipping. I'm not willing to pay $100 a dress, so it's not a bad deal... but sometimes you get what you pay for.

A fellow bride recommended Richard’s to me. They were quick, helpful and affordable. Pressing cost $60 and cleaning, preserving and boxing the gown cost $200. While it seems a bit steep for the preserving, they were absolutely the cheapest I could find on steaming, so I stuck with them. I was getting quotes for several hundred dollars at some placing for pressing!

Kirsten was excellent. She was quick, straight to the point and very affordable. I paid about $280 for hemming, taking the bust in, adding cups and building the bustle. The bust of my dress was detailed work over a single sheet of lace, so Kirsten had to remove the lace and rework it to make the bust line fit me. I was very pleased with her work.

I called almost a month before and scheduled an appointment. When we arrived on a very busy Sunday, they didn't have my appointment in the book, but immediately said, "Don't worry, we'll get you in, no problem." I think they saw the look of horror on my face. ;) They paired me up with Kathy and immediately got me into a fitting room.

Kathy was wonderful, she nailed down my style in 5 dresses. We bought the 4th dress I tried on. Bought the matching veil that Kathy suggested. I hadn't planned on buying a veil. As a bargain bride, I was going to order online, but it matched the dress perfectly, and mom fell in love with it.

We also bought dyeable satin sandals there. I love sandals, wear them all the time. But a couple weeks later had sandal regret. When they arrived I tried to return them, but I was told I'd have to pay a restocking fee and buy another pair there for the same or higher price. I passed.

We also ordered the bridesmaid dresses on the same day. Heather was our helper in that department, she was awesome! Very attentive, and helped confirm orders a couple weeks later when I was making sure a BM had placed her order. Those dresses arrived very quickly too.

I highly recommend Trudy's because they were very friendly and took care of me right away, even after they couldn't find the appointment, and everything arrived early. The restocking/exchange scenario is a rip-off, although not uncommon at bridal shops.

We found Lindsey Huff through the conservatory. She was a pleasure to work with. We met with her at the site, she tried the piano and played several selections. Within an hour, we had all the pieces picked out. She’s very sweet and easy to work with.

I dealt solely with Christina Pressley and she was great. Got down to business, no games, very efficient. I actually employed a "Bridal Bargains" tactic here and never said the word wedding. I don’t know if that made a difference in price, but they were definitely the most affordable shuttle bus I found.

When the original contract came through, the price was wrong, Christina quickly fixed it and re-priced the rental to be even cheaper. No weirdness, no games, she just couldn’t figure out how she had gotten to the figure on the earlier estimate.

I reserved a 24-passenger bus. On the wedding day, we received a full-sized bus. I don’t know if they were overbooked or what, and I didn’t care. I ordered a bus. I got a bus. And my nieces had fun running around in it.

These guys come highly recommended. I met Omar at SF State in the journalism department. He is an amazing photographer. Originally I asked him and another student to shoot our wedding. The second photographer went MIA for two months, and finally emailed me two months before the wedding. She wanted more money or less hours. Being that the contact involved Omar too, I told her I couldn’t change the plan and thanks, but no thanks.

Omar jumped right in and took on the work of two photographers. He did a walk through and site preparation for the Conservatory of Flowers. He spent weeks investigating the permitting system to make sure we could take photos there. As we got closer, he wanted to make sure everything went well and sub-contracted with Justin.

The end result was fantastic photos that are unique and capture the feel of our day perfectly. I had CDs of about 1,000 photos ready and waiting for me when we returned from our honeymoon! You can't go wrong with these guys.

R&L deals mostly with funerals because they’re right by the cemetery, so they’re happy to do more lively events like weddings and they do beautiful work. We got bouquets, boutonnières and corsages from them. Everything looked beautiful. The owner can be absent minded and in the end our orange calla lillies came out fuscia. The orange roses I actually handpicked from a sample lot, and they were perfect. Other then that, they’re very nice and you’ll certainly get an excellent price.

Mary and Gerhard Michler are amazing. Mary does a lovely presentation for the tasting, and put up with my numerous calls and visits while I designed and redesigned my wedding cake. I just couldn’t get confident about what I wanted because it was hard for me to visualize. She provided a test tier, then die-testing flower petals, all at no cost. It must have been a pain for her to put up with, but she handled it all with grace and patience.

Also, their cakes are the cheapest ones I found!!! They figure out the range of people the cake could feed, then charge you on the lower number. For example, we were planning on 85 guests, but our cake could feed 75-87 say, depending on how big you cut the pieces. We were charged on the 75 headcount. And the cake was amazing! We also got a small groom’s cake that is off their regular list of products – so scrumptious. I can’t say enough good things about these guys. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a wedding cake.
