Jonathon does really nice work. It'd highly recommend him. His prices are just about smack dab in the middle as far as that is concerned and his photos are beautiful. He's a really nice guy who takes some good artistic shots as well as your classic traditional poses. He can work in both worlds and that's nice. Contact him if you're looking for someone in the area who can do the job well, be kind, and give you a beautiful set of photos when all is said and done.

Look him up on-line. It's a funny name, I know, but you'll find his site. A friend used him for her wedding and was really pleased, though I chose not to go that route. He's not really a communicator. It's kind of hard to know his rates and packages just because he's more of an artist and less of a communicator, though he's kind. I think his speciality is really senior pictures (which he does beautifully!) so... if you know someone who needs their senior pictures taken, then go for him, for sure!

Christy does really good work, but she's a bit more expensive than I could afford for my wedding. What was great with working with Christy (though I didn't end up using her in the end) is that she's willing to work with you a lot more than most people. She takes you out to coffee before hand and really wants to know what style and photos you want to have captured. She's willing to truly work for the couple and get the style and shots they most want. She's a good listener. She also does quite a bit of work with charities.
Christina is great to work with. She is really really sweet and a really nice girl. When I was emailing her before the wedding, she responded right away and was just really gracious and kind. Her photos are more traditional and less artisitic, but if that's what you're going for than she great. She also is much more affordable than other photographers. Her packages are great to work with. If you're looking for someone to take photos during your wedding and just want the traditional set, she's your girl.

Jared has beautiful photos! He does some really creative and artistic shots that are just beautiful. He's also really really nice and listens to what you have want. I'd highly recommend Jared and his work. It's artistic, creative, and he's able to take those shots you certainly want to frame on your wall.
Mmmmm... wasn't impressed with Macy's at all. We decided to give it a try since we were at the mall anyway, but they really don't have a dress selection at all. They're not meant to be a bridal shop, per say, but we wanted to try anyway. I wouldn't worry about stopping in there, especially if you're on a time constraint... There really wasn't anything in Macy's worth checking out. Selection was really poor.

A friend got her bridesmaid dresses at Charlotte's but I was rather disappointed when my girls and I went. There was very little selection and what they did have was only in the size they happened to have on the hanger. If that size wasn't you, then you were kind of out of luck for being able to try on the dress before ordering it. They would be a fine shop if you knew exactly what you wanted (wanted a specific brand name) and just needed them to do the sizing and ordering. THe girl I worked with there was really nice, but the dress selection was poor. Same for the wedding gown. There were only a few in the store and were organized by designer name. So, if you know what designer you want, call ahead and see if they carry it before going in. Also, it was busy when we were there and we didn't have an appointment. Make sure you call ahead and schedule an appointment.
A friend told me to check out Anne Taylor because that's where they found their bridesmaid dresses, but I was disappointed... they didn't really have a selection at all. To their credit, they're not supposed to be a bridal shop but since she got her dresses there I figured I'd check it out too. Not impressed though. If you like what they happen to have, great. But, if not, then there isn't really much selection.
Sears is an interesting place to look for bridesmaid dresses if you're looking for something a little more classic. Their prices are great, but selection isn't all that. Sometimes you can hit some good sales and if you happen to line it up right, it's fabulous. But, otherwise it's just another store. Look on-line at their dresses before making the trek to the store.

David's Bridal was great for us. There was no pressuring and I found the prices to be very reasonable. The ladies were really helpful and truly listened to what I want. They were kind and did a great job finding dresses that matched my taste. There weren't quite as many options for my bridesmaids as I would have liked, but still... there were options for them as well. I'd recommend at least starting at David's Bridal.
