I was going to create my own corsages and boutonnieres for our parents and other family members, but I ran out of time! I ordered 6 of each from Afloral and they turned out beautifully! The corsages were lush and very full; the boutonnieres were the perfect size and very elegant. I did, however, change and add to the original design, but the quality of the flowers were surprisingly life-like, especially in photos!

Also, the shipping was fast and the cost was reasonable given the tight timeframe that I needed them!

We used ABC Weddings to rent candelabras, Eiffel vases and feather decor for my bridal shower! The black candelabras were brand new stock and were absolutely beautiful - perfect for a "French Bourdoir" inspired bridal shower! I absolutely LOVED them and they were a fantastic price in comparison to other rental vendors with the same type of decor!! I would highly recommend ABC Weddings for decor rentals!

FANTASTIC service and the driver was super friendly! In hindsight, we could've easily opted out of using a limo service on our wedding day considering that all our venues were downtown, but it was worth the splurge!

Our experience with Derk's Formals Edmonton (Off Whyte Avenue) would have been a 5-star experience had their downtown Calgary store not missed shipping out one of our groomsman's suits. Apparently, the suit was ready for shipment to Calgary in their Edmonton warehouse, but did not get shipped out to Calgary in time for our groomsman to pick it up in Calgary. Luckily, the Whyet Ave location in Edmonton managed to make arrangements for our groomsman to have a suit ready 2 days before the wedding. Despite this mishap, I have to say that our Derk's contact was highly responsive, understanding, efficient AND pleasant whilst dealing with us!

Overall, it was still a positive experience. Derk's has a great selection of suit rentals and the rental rates are reasonable.

I can't even express how immensely talented Jasser is and we are beyond blessed to have had him as our photographer for our engagement photos and our wedding photos!! His professionalism, charisma, talent and vision for capturing heartfelt moments never ceases to amaze me. He has an incredible talent for knowing what the essence of human emotions are and when the perfect moment is to take photos! I wish I could describe how much we LOVED having Jasser as a photographer, but there aren't enough words to describe him!

If it were possible, he would get 10 stars instead of 5. He's THAT good and I highly recommend him to any couple who would love to have wedding photos that make them feel as though they're reliving EVERY magical moment of their wedding day over and over and over again. Jasser and JAG Photography are WORTH that investment. I promise.

I found and bought my wedding gown (which I LOVED!!!) at Wedding World. Their selection is quite varied with a good price range. As much as I LOVED my gown, I did, however, find that their customer service can be a bit lacking at times (i.e. Not enough help, tardy email and phone responses and at times, the lack of attention to details by some store personnel).

On the plus side, the store manager, Frances, is VERY helpful and knowledgeable and their contracted seamstress, Melody, is ABSOLUTELY SKILLED and WONDERFUL to work with. I would recommend Wedding World just based on Melody's alteration work and Frances' professionalism.

Sofia, our Day-of-Coordinator, was an absolute BLESSING!!! She did a fantastic job of organizing and coordinating all the details on our wedding day and was extremely professional and efficient in doing so!!

Hiring Awespiring Weddings and Design was the BEST decision of our wedding planning journey and I HIGHLY recommend them if you want a stress-free wedding day!!!

We rented all of our table linens, napkins and 2 30-inch cocktail tables (for our escort card display and cake display tables) from Special Event Rentals as they were the only vendors that carried black and white striped linens in our city.

Initially, there was hiccup with regards to the incorrect length of table linens special ordered due to the lack of attention from one staff member, but this was immediately rectified when the Rentals Supervisor, Janice, voluntarily took over my booking in an effort to put my mind at ease with respect to being reassured that the correct size of table linens would arrive in time for our wedding.

Janice was absolutely WONDERFUL in rectifying what could have become a negative vendor situation! Based on the helpfulness and attentiveness of all other staff members (with the exemption of the initial customer service representative), I would recommend Special Event Rentals in terms of the variety they offer, reasonable rentals rates and flexible pick-up and delivery terms!! :)

Elegant Touches provided the wire mannequin bust that we used as our escort card display. Pick-up and delivery was very flexible and the staff were consistently helpful and attentive!
