This summer I was married in Rutherford at Beaulieu Garden. We had Fleur de Cocoa do our wedding cake. It was a white chocolate Satin cake and was absolutely incredible. It was a three tired cake decorated with gorgeous fresh flowers. The Chef, Pascal Janvier, is one of the top French pastry chefs in America and is very well regarded for his expertise. Everyone at our wedding commented that it was by far the best wedding cake that they had ever tried. Both my husband and I could not be happier and would definitely recommend Fleur de Cocoa for a very special wedding cake.

Sarah Hyde did the wedding party make-up and hair for my four bridesmaids, my mother and myself (the bride). I was married at Beaulieu Garden in Rutherford this summer and felt so lucky to have Sarah to work with on my wedding day. We did a trial a few months beforehand, which I scheduled just before my engagement party. My bridesmaids got really excited when they saw the outcome of her work. She really understands color and texture. She is creative but also really listens to preferences. I truly feel that she is the best in the Bay Area and I would recommend her to anyone. I have to say that Sarah is not cheap and as I look back on the cost, I would do it all over again. It was really worth it and I have never felt so beautiful or seen my mother as happy as she was after getting her hair and make-up done. Anyway, here are a few points about Sarah and why I feel so lucky to have worked with her on the biggest day of my life.

1. She has great vision, is a true artist and listens to what you like
2. She has exceptional products and will give great tips for future
3. She is punctual and will work until she has exceeded expectations
4. She is fun to be around – which is important in the pre-wedding hype
5. She has the best reputation – I love to research this stuff and she lived up to her 5 star reviews
