If you are getting married in Fayetteville, and need a church and officiant - go to First Christian Church at 220 N. College. Beautiful church and Rev. Pfieffer is fantastic. He did have us go through pre-wedding meetings and it was something my now husband dreaded. But afterwards, he was totally at ease and looking forward to getting married by Rev. Pfeiffer. And from the rehearsal through the wedding, he was amazing! Weddings are a joyous occasion, and he helped make it so! We are so thankful we had him marry us. It made the day just all the more special.
I love David's Bridal in Fayetteville. The nicest, most organized staff. My alterations were a breeze, and they were so flexible in working with me since I lived in Dallas. David's Bridal in Lewisville is a totall mess all the way around. No one knows where orders are put, the alterations women were scary when we went in for my maid of honor's fitting. We decided to have her do her own alterations if she needed them because these women were not only rude, but very unorganized. But you're safe in Fayetteville's shop.
Men's Warehouse needs to work on their customer service, as well as qualified sales personnel to measure for tuxes! They got everything wrong except for the pants on the groom's tux. One of the groomsmen's shirt looked like a dress with sleeves that practically hit his elbows! The best man's order was lost because it was entered into their system wrong, and the other groomsman tried to use a valid coupon but they wouldn't honor it because they said it was for Prom rentals, not weddings. Nowhere on the coupon did it say for Prom Rentals only. But they refused to honor it still. They made the groom go up and wait for the UPS delivery containing the right apparel the morning of our wedding, making him 30 minutes late to the church. They didn't care, and their attitude was "sorry, we can't.....". Too bad we were forced to use them because they were the only national vendor in that area.

We wanted something affordable and unique for our rehearsal dinner. My mother suggested Emelia's on Dickson Street and we are so happy she did! The food was healthy, and good and everyone (even the finicky eaters) loved it. The atmosphere was so pretty. And the dessert was delicious, too! We were very pleased with the total cost considering we did not cut off the wine and the staff made sure everyone had enough food; which is served family style (a nice touch).

I would highly recommend using Studio 8, in Fayetteville, for weddings/special occasions. The girls are all really friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxed. My hair came out better than I'd ever expected on my pouring-rain-wedding-day, and it held up to the very end of the day! I got so many compliments on it. And I can't say enough about how natural and beautiful my bridesmaids looked as well. They are also one of the few salons open on Saturdays; which is a sad mistake for other salons in the area.
Glo, in Fayettevile, is fantastic! They did the makeup for me, and my bridesmaids, and it was so natural looking. I wanted everyone to look like ourselves, not like some places - where you show up looking like someone else, and sometimes scary? Glo was spot-on and they were the nicest girls to work with. I'll definitely be going back there for more services in the future!
We used the Garden Room on Dickson St, Fayetteville, because we just didn't have the funds to go to any of the other venues that were WAY more expensive. Also, it was rustic and had a home-town feel and we liked that. The food was good, the atmosphere (fire in the fireplace, chimineras outside, and candles everywhere) was really comfortable and relaxed. The only thing we did not like was the tiny plastic cups for the champagne toast; we understood them to say they were using platic champagne glasses, not dinky little punch cups. Totally declasse! Also, music was supposed to be playing before we arrived and a short while after so we could set up for the toasts, etc.. and there was no music at all playing, and they had let the fire go out. But the people are really nice and helpful. And it's also a great atmosphere if there will be kids there, because there is room for them outside to run and play.

Best cake in Fayetteville! I don't care what the hype of other bakeries is- Chuck's has the freshest, moistest cakes for weddings hands down! Because of the "hype" around another wedding bakery, we went there first, and we were there for over 30 minutes without one person asking us if we needed assistance. We left with no one knowing we'd even been there, I think. Plus, on their price sheet there were lots of added expenses and "rules" to follow for the wedding cakes/delivery. No thanks! At Chuck's - you get personal service, friendly people, and again- the cake was to die for! No hidden fees, costs, delivery-set-up fees - none of that nonsense. We also asked for a special groom's cake and they met the challenge with flying colors - the hit of the reception. We are going to order a small version of our wedding cake for our 1-year anniversary. It's worth the drive up from Dallas just to have it again!

Loved having Focused Exposure as the photographer at my wedding! Very professional, friendly, unobtrusive, and they captured the most natural, fun shots of everyone! Not enough words to express our gratitude and happiness that we used them! I do not have my final album yet, and I can't wait, but in the meanwhile I have a few photos and the proofs and they are ALL fantastic.

I chose Rose of Sharon because I had heard how great Thea was to work with. And I heard that her arrangements were really lovely as well. After visiting a few local florists and getting either ignored or a book of wedding arrangements thrown at me to "browse through", I decided to move on and I am SO glad I did! Thea listened to what we wanted, what I wanted for a bouquet, etc. and she came through brilliantly. I was also impressed by her attentiveness the day of the wedding; making sure everyone got their assigned flowers/corsages were pinned on, etc... I've been in a number of weddings where the florist just drops off a box or two and leaves. Not so with Rose of Sharon. We were also on a strict budget and she worked with us to make sure we stayed within our guidelines. I would use her again in a heartbeat!
